Imagine a Star Wars with Sylvester Stallone as Hans Solo!
August 15th, 2014 under Jimmy Fallon, Star Wars, Sylvester Stallone. [ Comments: none ]

Sylvester Stallone was on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon asked him about some of his Expendables 3 co-stars. The NBC late night host asked him if he knew Harrison Ford from working in the business for so long. Rambo told him a story that after he finished filming Rocky, he went in for an audition for some move about a space vehicle called Star Wars. As soon as he walked in, he could tell they were all like next. So before they could say anything, he gave them a one, two punch of “Let me just make it easier for you. I would look like crap in Spandex, leotards and a ray gun. I get it.” Then he added, “Guys from Space don’t have this kind of face.”
So even though he didn’t get the role in one of the biggest franchises of all time, he did OK for himself. Even though in a way Arnold Schwarzenegger almost sabotaged his career because the two of them were up for the same movies. Because of that Sly would do things like Stop or My Will Shoot, so the Terminator wouldn’t get the role. Which is a movie I really liked to be honest.

Conan O’Brien does the end all for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!
August 15th, 2014 under ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Conan O'Brien. [ Comments: none ]

For the last few weeks lots of celebrities like Matt Lauer, Kathie Lee Gifford, Chris O’Donnell, Martha Stewart, Justin Timberlake and so many more have taken part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Earlier this week, Larry King did it and he challenged Conan O’Brien to do the same. Yesterday, on his TBS late night show he accepted the challenge. Granted he only did it because he thought he was getting the money to do it, not that he had to do it and pay the money. Sadly, for him, and happily for us, he didn’t know that until after he did it. He he he!
I think this is by far the best version I’ve seen of the challenge; so if anyone can top this, go ahead. If you can’t, then just give the money to the ALS Association.
ALS is a horrible horrible disease. My uncle had it and before it fully kicked in, he told me he wanted to die. A man, who would walk around Miami Beach, found himself to be a prisoner in his own body. His kids having to bathe him and taking care of his motionless body, until his time finally came. I hope we can up with a cure for this debilitating disease in my lifetime, so that no one else has to suffer through it ever again.
So if these Ice Bucket Challenges are helping to do that, then I say they are a good thing and let the ice come raining down. You hear that the three people Conan challenged, Former-President Jimmy Carter, soccer legend Pele and that kid who sees dead people Haley Joel Osment.

Is Jessica Biel bringing sexy back?
August 15th, 2014 under Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake. [ Comments: 1 ]

Jessica Biel went to see her husband, Justin Timberlake, perform in Montreal. She got so into his song that she did a Billy Idol and was Dancing with Myself. A fan at the show noticed her booty shaking and recorded it instead of the star of the concert. Although with those moves, she was the true star of the show.

BTWF roles: James Gunn in Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV
August 14th, 2014 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

Before James Gunn was directing movies like Guardians of the Galaxy, he was starring in Troma films like Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV. He looks the same now as he did when he was 29 in that 2000 movie.
