As soon as we heard that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon got married, we were expecting to hear that they split up. Then they celebrated their first wedding anniversary, their second one, their third, their fourth, their fifth and their sixth, so you thought that maybe they were actually going to make it.
In the last week, rumors have been swirling that they were living part, and today Nick Cannon confirmed that indeed they are to The Insider. He told them, “There is trouble in paradise, we have been living in separate houses for a few months.†Then he added that, “My main focus is my kids.” He also made it clear that there’s no truth to him cheating on his wife.
Mariah Carey’s publicist would not comment on the split, but did say that singer is focusing on their three year old twins Roc and Roe, and she is prepping for her tour.
As someone who was a naysayer at first about their marriage, I am really hoping they can work it out. The way he talks about her, it always seemed like it was a love affair for the ages. Plus, I think she really needs to consider, how many other men would put up with her the way he did.

TBS has had a lot of success with King of the Nerds, so it looks like they are really getting into the reality show business. Yesterday, on Conan the late night talk show ran a promo for the network’s upcoming show 16 & Pregnant & a Dog, and I think it will be a huge a hit. Talk about throwing a girl a bone!

Yesterday, on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon caused two of his guests some discomfort.
First up was Lindsay Lohan. When he was going though his suggestion box, someone mentioned that they challenged the Mean Girl to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Since she had not responded to that person in time, they asked the NBC late night host for some help. He worked his magic and suddenly she appeared. Something I am sure she regretted after he dumped a cold bucket of ice water on her head.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Fallon next trimmed Jared Leto’s bush on the show. Not the one that we could only see on cable, but the bush that is on his face. Something he so desperately needed, even though he didn’t want to go through with it. Too bad Jimmy didn’t take it all off. I miss the 30 Seconds from Mars’s singer’s clean shaven face. Although with that hair and beard, I can’t believe no one has asked him to play Jesus. He seriously looks like him. Doesn’t he?
Now back to Fallon, since I am a sadist, I love when he tortures people!

Dancing with the Stars adds a 4th judge, it worked so well for American Idol |

Dancing with the Stars announced today that they are adding a fourth judge to the desk and she’s been on the show before. In fact, the three people she will be sitting next to have judged her. It is two-time mirror ball winner Julianne Hough.
The ABC dancing competition has been ratings challenged for the last few years and this is yet another failed fix. I was hoping that when the show got a new Executive Producer, they would finally make some much needed changes. I thought they would change up the pros, so we could see some new choreography. They did not. Then I was hoping they would get rid of the biased judges, who say the same thing ever week. They did not. Instead, they add a fourth judge whose voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Do they need her? No. Four judges is too much, see American Idol. In addition, her brother is on the show and that isn’t fair to the other dancers. Good thing Maksim Chmerkovskiy isn’t there because this would totally piss him. Not because he wanted to be a judge (and he’d be better) because she will be biased towards Derek Hough.
If this doesn’t work, which I doubt will, they really need to change up the whole judging table.
