January 29th, 2014 under Bones, Gordon Ramsay. [ Comments: none ]

Fox announced today that Bones was renewed for a 10th season in the fall. And the news gets even better for the show this season because it is moving back to Mondays starting on March 10th.
Starting on February 28th, Kitchen Nightmares will be back on Fridays at 8p replacing Bones.
Why Fox moved Bones to Fridays in the first place is a mystery that only the squints could solve.

American Horror Story: Coven has a supreme season finale!
January 29th, 2014 under American Horror Story. [ Comments: 1 ]

Tonight at 10p on FX it is time for the very much anticipated season finale of American Horror Story: Coven and you don’t want to miss it.
The day the four remaining witches have waited for has come, it is time for them to take the Seven Wonders test to find out who will be the next Supreme. Will it be Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe) who is the Voodoo witch? Will it be Madison (Emma Roberts) the bitchy actress who thinks it is coming to her? What about Misty May (Lily Rabe) who can bring people back from the dead? Finally there is innocent Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), is she the one? One by one they will fail until there is only one who will say she is the Supreme? Do you think you know it is? It wasn’t who I thought it was and because of that I loved the season finale that might actually be the best episode in American Horror Story’s long run.
And did I mention the episode starts off with Stevie Nicks singing her song Seven Wonders which I think we can all agree is very appropriate.

Newscasters wants us to Don’t Worry, Be Happy!
January 29th, 2014 under Conan O'Brien. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday on Conan O’Brien’s TBS show, he noticed a trend in local news. Several of the anchors across the country told their viewers to “Don’t Worry, Be Happy!” Not 1, not 2, not even 10, so many I couldn’t count all of them. And you know what, I am not going to worry about that. I am just going to be happy that I heard so many of them say the same thing.

Jimmy Fallon leaves Seth Meyers his pickle to play with it!
January 29th, 2014 under Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

There is a Late Night tradition that started with David Letterman and has continued up until today. When the Letterman left Late Night for The Late Show, his writers gave Conan O’Brien a pickle that had been in their care for some time. Then when Conan got The Tonight Show, he gave that pickle to Jimmy Fallon who was replacing him. Well now that Fallon is going to take over The Tonight Show, he handed off that huge fake pickle to Seth Meyers who got his job. What Meyers is going to do with it? We will just have to wait until February 24th to find out.
Let’s just hope he doesn’t find himself in the same pickle that Conan did 5 years ago. Ba da bump!
Finally, you can watch Jay Leno hand over the Tonight Show tradition (whatever it is) to Jimmy Fallon this Monday at 11:35p on NBC.

Don’t crash Jim Cantore’s live shots unless you want to be kneed!
January 29th, 2014 under TV News. [ Comments: none ]

Jim Cantore was doing a liveshot from the College of Charlseton for the Weather Channel when one of the students tried to crash his liveshot. As the guy was running and screaming towards him, the weatherman lifted his bent leg and kneed him right in the balls. Then the kid, turned around, ran away, this time screaming a little higher on the way out then he did on the way in.
So the moral of the story is be careful which reporter’s liveshot you crash unless you want something of yours crashed.
