Sandra Bullock thanks George Clooney ‘for floating away and not coming back!’
January 17th, 2014 under Sandra Bullock. [ Comments: 1 ]

Sandra Bullock won another award for Gravity yesterday, this time at the Critics Choice Awards. During her speech, she thanked her only physical co-star George Clooney “for floating away and not coming back.” I felt the same way when I saw the movie. In fact, I was hoping she would do the same, but sadly she didn’t until the very end. I know, I am the only person who hated it and was wishing for one of those meteorites to take them out already.
Anyways the other highlight in her speech is when there was an audio mess up that interrupted it; America’s sweetheart looked right into the camera and said, “What the f*ck?” Too bad the censors caught it.

Brian Williams can do the news, but can’t tell a joke!
January 17th, 2014 under David Letterman. [ Comments: none ]

Brian Williams was a guest on The Late Show yesterday and he tried to tell a joke but failed miserably. So David Letterman told him they would edit that out and the newsman could try it again. Once again, it didn’t work. So you know the saying, “If at first you don’t succeed, Try, try, try again.” Well is the third time a charm for him? You just have to watch as a serious newsman unintentionally finds himself in a very funny situation.

Drake is the one Canadian who can’t play Beer Hockey
January 17th, 2014 under Degrassi, Drake, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Drake was on Late Night yesterday and Jimmy Fallon challenged him to a game a of Beer Hockey. You’d think because Jimmy Brooks is Canadian that the game would be easy peasy for him. Well, he thought so too and went into it all confident. But after downing his second beer, he’s grateful that Canadians love Degrassi as much as hockey or he might not be allowed back in.
Hopefully things will go much better for him when he hosts Saturday Night Live tomorrow on NBC.

Chris Pine serenades Jimmy Kimmel!
January 17th, 2014 under Chris Pine, Jimmy Kimmel, Star Trek. [ Comments: none ]

Chris Pine was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and the ABC late night host told Captain Kirk that Meryl Street says he (her Into the Woods co-star) has a great singing voice. Kimmel then asked him to sing something and after a little persuasion he belted out Frank Sinatra’s Fly Me to the Moon. Pine’s voice has me pining for him to fly me to the moon. I know that was cheesy, but then again so is that song.
But seriously, his voice is as enchanting as his eyes. It almost makes me want to go see Into the Woods, a musical I personally didn’t care for when I saw it.
