Psych the Musical is something to sing about! |

If any show deserves a 2 hour musical episode, it is Psych. Tonight at 9p the pyshcomdey is getting just that on USA and you don’t want to miss the best musical episode since the one that Buffy: The Vampire Slayer did theirs.
Years ago, Z (Anthony Rapp) wrote a musical and on the night of the opening, he allegedly killed the critic who gave his play a bad review. Now a new version of it is set to open and Z has gone missing from the mental institution he has been committed to for the last 7 years. Shawn (James Roday) and Gus (Dulé Hill) are on a mission to find him before he kills again. Their search will lead them to a familiar face at the institution and Shawn is once again reunited with, Yang (Ally Sheedy). She has ties to Z, so Sean will use her knowledge to solve the crime before Lassie (Timothy Omundson) and Jules (Maggie Lawson) do. As they investigate the original crime, they are unsure if Z was the murderer that night and the murderer of today. Yes, there will be death. Will they be able to solve this crime before the curtain goes down? You will just have to tune in to find out.
And did I mention that this episode is a Rockopera? So if you are looking for something to get you over NBC’s The Sound of Music, then get psyched for Psych tonight.
Oh and the thing that will surprise you most about the episode tonight, is not that they are all great singers and dancers, but how amazing Timothy Omundson’s voice is. I don’t mean to single anyone out, but from his first note you will hear why I am doing so.
I am all for musical episodes, especially when they are done right like Psych is tonight. So whether you are a fan of the show or night, tonight’s show is a must watch.

RIP Peter O’Toole |
December 15th, 2013 under Obits. [ Comments: none ]

Peter O’Toole passed away this morning at the age of 81 after a long illness according to The Guardian. The actor was known for so much of his work like Lawrence of Arabia, The Lion in the Winter, Goodbye Mr Chips, My Favorite Year, What’s New Pussycat?, Hamlet, Supergirl, King Ralph and The Tudors to name a very few. No matter what he did, he always stood out as the good looking talented actor. Although he never brought home an Oscar for anyone particular role, he rightfully brought it home for his whole body of work.
So today remember this legendary actor and watch one, if not more, of his movies or television performances.

Does this Miley Cyrus flashing photo get your tongue wagging? |

Miley Cyrus decided to wish us a Merry Christmas by lifting her shirt and the hearts were the last place I looked. The first thing I noticed was her white tongue, then the lack of makeup makes her look like a teenage boy and finally how big her head is as compared to her body. But the thing that stood out most for me is her desperation to rebel against who she was and how sad it is getting to me. She has talent and she needs to focus on that instead of proving to us that she is no longer Hannah Montana. We got it, now let’s move on.

Outrageous 911 is outrageous fun! |
December 14th, 2013 under DIscovery Networks/Discovery+. [ Comments: none ]

We have all seen the news stories of people calling 911 for the craziest things and tonight at 10p on TLC you will watch as some of the most outrageous calls are reenacted on Outrageous 911. Just when you think people cannot be so stupid to call 911 to tell them that they are driving drunk, you will see a woman do exactly that. You will hear a 4 year old call the police on his grandmother because he isn’t getting his way. Then there is the guy who stuck his, you know, in the pool pump and it got stuck. You have to feel for the poor actor in that dramatization.
These are just a few of the examples of the Outrageous 911 calls you will hear tonight and on December 28th, and you don’t want to miss a single call.
You’ll sincerely be surprised how many criminals call 911 on themselves. I must add that not all of the calls are outrageous because they are so crazy, they are outrageous because of what happens when the operator gets the call. There are also calls where a toddler saves the day or a woman who didn’t know she was pregnant gives birth. Outrageous 911 is unlike anything on television and because of that you don’t want to miss this 2 part special.

Anchorman gets catty! |

Pet Collective has come up with the purrfect petody to Anchorman by using cats to recreate the cult movie in just 2 minutes. Some have thought that Ron Burgundy is a pussy and now we can say it is official thanks to this tail, I mean, tale.
So sit back, grab some tuna and a bowl of milk, and enjoy Anchorman like you never have before. I enjoyed it so much that laughed like I was on catnip.
BTW am I the only sick of all the publicity they have been doing for Anchorman 2? Is there anywhere Will Ferrell hasn’t been to promote the sequel that comes out next week.
