Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen meet Elmo!
September 13th, 2013 under Sir Patrick Stewart/Sir Ian McKellen, Strange Encounters. [ Comments: none ]

Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen were walking in Manhattan and they ran into Elmo. What we got from their encounter is the best picture you will see all day! If that photo doesn’t put the biggest smile on your face, I don’t know what will. Maybe seeing the two of them star in Harold Pinter’s No Man’s Land and Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot starting on October 26th at the Cort Theatre.

I Dream of Bewitched!
September 13th, 2013 under 60s, Barbara Eden. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since the late 60’s we have been enjoying two shows, one about a Jeannie and another one about a Witch, and yet the two have never met. That was until last weekend when I Dream of Jeannie’s Jeannie and Bewitched’s Tabitha met up at the Hollywood Show in Chicago.
How awesome is it see Barbara Eden with Erin Murphy, maybe TV Land can give them a sitcom together?
BTW I don’t know what magic the two women learned on the set of their sitcoms, but whatever it was has kept them looking much younger than they really are. Seriously can you believe that Eden is 82 years young and Murphy is 49 because neither one of them looks it.

Kids divulge the worst thing their mother has ever said!
September 13th, 2013 under Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday on Jimmy Kimmel Live they went on to the street and asked kids “What is the Worst Thing You Ever Heard Your Mommy Say?” While some kids kept it PG with words like “stupid” and “no”, others went for the R-Rating! I am sure those moms now regret agreeing to let their kids be on national TV, after finding out what the content of the interview was about. I am also sure those kids heard their moms use even worser words after they watched the ABC late night show yesterday. Although the last kid has already all of those words before!

I have a feeling you’ll love this Dave Matthews/Grover duet!
September 13th, 2013 under Sesame Street/Muppets. [ Comments: none ]

Dave Matthews is going to be on Sesame Street this Monday and he’s going to sing a song about Feelings with Grover. They might need a word to describe the feeling they’re feeling, but we don’t because we know what words describe our feelings after watching that and they are happiness, love and joy!
Seriously isn’t there duet just so perfect? I can’t get it out of mind and I can’t stop smiling ever after watching it for 43rd time.

Who’d think a marriage proposal at Home Depot could be so romantic!
September 13th, 2013 under Flash Mobs, Marriage Proposals. [ Comments: none ]

Dustin went to Home Depot in Salt Lake City with his roommate and got the surprise of a lifetime when he was whisked over to lumber section. Suddenly a group of people started dancing to Betty Who’s Somebody Loves You and as the song went on friends and family started to join in. Finally his boyfriend, Spencer, showed up with a sign that read “If I am good to you, won’t you be good to me.” Then Spencer joined in with the flash mob until the song stopped. As the store grew silent he grabbed Dustin’s hand to join him, then when they were together Spencer got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him. Of course he said yes because how could you say no to such a wonderful proposal!
See straights, that is how you are supposed to be done!
BTW I hope they share their first dance together as a Mr & Mr because I am sure it will be something to remember forever and to strive for on our wedding day!
