This should ease your pain over Breaking Bad’s finale
September 28th, 2013 under Uncategorized. [ Comments: none ]

Tomorrow night is Breaking Bad’s season finale and many people can’t handle it. So Jimmy Fallon came up with a little something to sooth you sorrow. He took dialogue from the drama and combined their words to sing *NSYNC’s Bye Bye Bye. If that doesn’t make you feel a little better, then the only thing that will is meth. Not that I am advocating that you do meth to get over the show’s ending.

The Neighbors has the best April Fool’s joke, Blue Bloods is back with a bang!
September 27th, 2013 under ABC, CBS. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 8:30p on The Neighbors Larry Bird (Simon Templeman) learns about a little holiday us Earthlings call April Fool’s Day, so he decides to prank everyone because that is what you are supposed to do.
Meanwhile over at The Weavers, Marty (Lenny Venito) and Debbie (Jami Getz) are getting ready for their annual family photo. Since they have some time to waste, they allow Max (Max Weaver) and Abby (Isabella Cramp) to play with Dick Butkus (Ian Patrick) across the street at Jackie Joyner-Kersee’s (Toks Olagundoye) house. After a little while Dick comes over to The Weavers and asks they if they will still love their kids even when they age. Sounds like a weird question? Well it really isn’t because he accidentally let them play in the ageing machine and now the prepubescent children look like adults, but in their little bodies. Will they get their cute little son and daughter back the way were or will they be stuck with two adult looking children?
You will just have to watch the episode that is full of jokes and gags to find out and includes the best prank ever.

Then at 10p change the dial over to CBS for the season premiere of Blue Bloods. Jamie (Will Estes) and his new partner, Eddie Jenko (Vanessa Ray) respond to a crime in progress at a jewelry store and find an officer down. When the commissioner, Frank (Tom Selleck) gets to the hospital, he finds out that she didn’t make it. So now everyone on the force is ordered to find this cop killer. Of course Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) gets involved and arrests the lead suspect. When his sister, Erin (Bridget Moynahan) the ADA, looks at the evidence she deems that it is not enough and orders that he be set free. So now Danny is busting his butt to get enough on this criminal to put him behind bars while his sister feels the wrath of her family and co-workers for letting this guy out.
Will they come up with enough proof the lock this guy up? Will Erin give into pressure and say that they have to arrest him or will she be stand her ground and lose her family?
You will have to tune into this intense suspenseful episode to find out.
And I am so happy that even though Blue Bloods has been on the air 4 years, it is still as good as it when it debuted.

MasterChef Junior cooks up the cuteness!
September 27th, 2013 under Gordon Ramsay. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 8p, Fox is going younger with MasterChef Junior and we get the sweetest reality show on television.
As we know MasterChef is where home cooks battle it out to be the best home cook in the country. Well tonight 24 kids from 8-13 are going to prove to us that they can cook just as well as people 4X their age. They might not be old enough to get a job as a Chef in a restaurant, but that isn’t stopping them from creating meals that could easily be served at one.
Tonight we watch as the 24 contestants are cut in half when they cook three dishes including dessert for Gordon Ramsey, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot. Tonight you will see a different side from the three Chefs, you’ll see them as nurturers who are blown away by the excellence of food they are tasting. So imagine if they are wowed, how you are going to react when you see these awwwdorbale kids cook better than you do on any given day. I know I was so ashamed by my cooking skills that I signed up for a cooking class because I’m no where near as good as they are.
Now even though I am embarrassed by cooking skills, I enjoyed watching MasterChef Junior. In a way I appreciated even more than the senior version because it is all real with none of the bull that comes with being an adult. In other words the adults are much more childish than the children.
So tune for MasterChef Junior as it gives us a whole new appreciation for kids and reality shows! Hopefully the other networks will take notice and gives us more shows like this one, like Dancing with the Child Stars, Sophomoric Survivor and America Next’s Top Tween Model.
