Howard Stern made Whitney Cummings cry!
July 16th, 2013 under Howard Stern. [ Comments: none ]

Whitney Cummings was a guest on Howard Stern‘s radio show and he asked her if other comedians abandoned her when she got her own show. Then as she answered him she started to cry when she said that they did. BTW I know how she feels; I cried when I watched the pilot for her show Whitney because it was abandoning what watchable television is all about.

Whose Line Is It Anyway? is back with even more laughs!
July 16th, 2013 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

Whose Line Is It Anyway? is back on a new network with a new host tonight at 8p on The CW, but with the same effect…lots and lots of laughs! Drew Carey found that The Price is Right on another show, so he is passing the reigns to someone to talk about, Aisha Tyler. Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie are all back and their improving skills are just as good as they always were, in fact I think that might even better. And now that they are on a younger network, that means their guests are hipper. Tonight they start off the season with The Walking Dead’s Lauren Cohan and she gets thing of to a kicking start. In the coming weeks we will see The Vampire Diaries’ Candice Accola, Glee’s Kevin McHale, Nikita’s Maggie Q and Hart of Dixie’s Wilson Bethel to name a few who will try their hardest not to lose it around this very funny group of people. Who doesn’t need laughs? Everyone does, so check out Whose Line Is It Anyways tonight and every Tuesday at 8p for a show that is as good as it always, if not better!

Steve Harvey is an Old Yeller!
July 16th, 2013 under Steve Harvey. [ Comments: none ]

Steve Harvey asked “Name something that starts with the word ‘old'” and Kevin said “Old Yeller.” Well the host of Family Feud thought that was ludicrous and it would never be on the board, so he made a big deal that if it was he wouldn’t acknowledge it. Well when he called to see if it was on there, guess what word appeared? I love how the family reacted to it being on there and Steve just stood there. It’s almost like someone shot his dog like they did in the movie.

TBS kidnapps American Dad from Fox!
July 16th, 2013 under Seth MacFarlane, TNT/TBS/TCM. [ Comments: none ]

TBS announced today that starting next season, American Dad will be airing new episodes there instead of on Fox. Seth MacFarlane’s show will air its 10th season on Fox and then begin it’s 11th on TBS late next year.
Which makes me think that Fox is so pissed at Seth MacFarlane for Dads that they’re sending American Dad to another network as punishment. Not that I have a problem with it because I think it is better fit for the animated sitcom.

Would NYers know All-Star Mets pitcher Matt Harvery if they were talking to him?
July 16th, 2013 under Jimmy Fallon, Sports figures. [ Comments: none ]

Growing up in NYC I always remember knowing who all of our baseball players were from The Yankees and The Mets every year. So Jimmy Fallon decided to test out that theory on Late Night yesterday when he had NY Met Matt Harvey interview NYers at Bryant Park. Watch what happens when he steps out out of his uniform and into some street clothes, and talks to some of his biggest fans! Granted in their defense it’s hard to recognize someone that you have only either seen in his uniform or naked, I mean clothes make the man but only if you know what he looks like in them.
BTW am I the only one who wants to round the bases with Matt Harvey after this bit?
