So most times when there is a press conference at a State House, nothing happens. Well today in South Carolina a WIS news photographer got the scoop of a lifetime when they were covering the Palmetto Pride’s Zero Tolerance for Litter Campaign news conference. A woman decided to make a statement (at least I am assuming that’s what she’s doing), by taking off her dress and walking towards the podium in just her panties, a bra, socks and her sneakers. So basically by dropping her dress to ground, she was asking the cops to arrest her because of their Zero Tolerance for Liter. But since that law isn’t in effect yet, they charged her with public disorderly conduct.
I think she gave the state a reason to pass the law to make sure that all the trash is properly gotten rid of?
Tonight at 10p on TBS Donald Faison is hosting a new camera prank show from the creators of Punk’d. The show is called Who Get the Last Laugh? and the answer is you do. Unlike Ashton Kutcher’s original show it isn’t the celebrities who are getting punked but this time they will be punking everyday unsuspecting people.
Each week 3 comedians like Andy Dick, Tom Green, D.L. Hughley, Kunal Nayyar, Chris Kattan, Danny Masterson, Bill Bellamy, Charlie Murphy, Cheri Oteri and Alan Thicke will stay in truck as they direct unknown actors to play pranks on everyday people. The actors/comedians pull pranks like covering a car full of sh!t, a package with $100,000 goes missing, someone drives away with the wrong automobile from a car wash as the stunned owner talks to the person who took their car and telling a customer that he is paying to the fill the gas tank of a stranger’s motor home and that is just a few of the funny pranks they will be playing. Each one of these jokes will have you falling out of your chair because you are laughing so hard. As fun as it is to watch the prankers’ reaction to it all, it is even funnier to watch the pranked people lose it during the show. Some will handle it a lot better than others.
This show isn’t only about giving us humor, it is about giving back. At the end of each episode the audience votes for who did the best prank, and the winner gets $10,000 to give to their favorite charity. So even though the show is doing bad, it is also doing good.
And that is what Faison want us to take away from the show? Here is what said on a conference call last week, “I just hope they laugh, that’s what this is all about. This is about making people laugh and hoping that everybody, you know, tunes in to laugh, because that’s what you’re going to do.” Then he added, “This is about giving back to charities and making people laugh. So, yeah that’s what I hope everybody gets out of this.”
La Toya Jackson was a guest on Katie Couric’s talk show and the host asked her about her love life. Katie didn’t stop there, she also asked the singer if she is a virgin.
Couric’s logic was that in the past La Toya admitted that she never consummated her marriage and that she has dated since it ended. So the former news lady had to find out the truth. Well La Toya didn’t give her what she wanted and avoided the question. I guess Katie isn’t as good as getting to the truth as the middle Jackson sister is as finding it out.
Jennifer Hudson was guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! yesterday and she told the ABC late night host that she has problem recognizing actors. So she told him a story that back when she was a contestant on American Idol, she went to the premiere of Kill Bill: Vol 2 with the other singers who were still on the show at the time. While she was watching it, she “fell asleep on the movie.” So when they got out of the film, QT asked them what they thought of it. Because she didn’t recognize him, she said to him “OMG! That movie was horrible. It was so boring.” Then someone finally got her attention to tell her who she just gave that sh!tty review to and she was embarrassed. So how did he react to her saying his movie was crap, she said he laughed it off because he thought she was joking. But maybe as time went on, he realized she wasn’t. And because of that, I don’t think we will ever be seeing the Oscar winner in any of his movies ever.
