A few weeks ago when I watched the pilot for ABC’s The Neighbor, I wondered what happened to Reggie Jackson because they have a character named after him. Well I don’t have to wonder because the Yankee slugger came out for the 12th Annual Harold Pump Foundation Gala and I think that the 66 year old could still a home run with me! Growing up in The Bronx, it was mandatory that I had crush on him. After all he is one of the best baseball players to ever live and he’s the greatest Bronx Bomber of my lifetime! Go Reg-gie!
Too bad they no longer make the Reggie Jackson bar because I loved eating it when I was kid!
Fox is slowly turning into Gordon Ramsay’s network and I don’t have a problem with it. Tonight at 8p his fourth series on the network debuts and you will want to check into Hotel Hell. It is like Kitchen Nightmares, but for hotels instead of restaurants.
During tonight’s series premiere Gordon goes to Vermont to help out a quaint little inn that is decorated to the max. The owner and his partner have decorated the place with so many Chachkies that they think it makes their place high end. In fact they have spent so much money on all of this clutter that they can’t afford to pay the staff. Now Gordon has to show the error of their ways even though they don’t want to see it. He does something that will shock them to change their ways and you have to see what he does to believe it. You will also enjoy this show because it is interesting to see how hotels can get it so wrong and learn to get it right.
Oh and did I mention that we get to see Gordon Ramsay naked when he goes to take bath? Dang pixelation.
After Hotel Hell at 8p, Hell’s Kitchen returns after being off the air for two weeks and the show isn’t the only thing that is back tonight. Several runners up from the past seasons return to take on the final 6 black coats. Only one team can win, and because of that seven people will be sent home tonight.
Then tomorrow at 9p MasterChef is also back and the final 6 are broken up in to 2 teams and they will have to compete like they are in Hell’s Kitchen at an actual Michelin Star Restaurant. During the episode Joe Bastianich will say something so intensive that Gordan Ramsay and Graham Elliot have to scold him on it. Then later on in the episode he has to apologize for it because he was so wrong. After he says he is sorry, someone else will have to say sorry when they opt out the pressure test. Can’t say I blame that person for doing that because it is a competition show and not a place to make friends.
Richie Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi have been jamming together for almost 30 years and now the rockers are starting to look more like brothers than bandmates thanks to some hair dye. Bon Jovi’s guitarist Tweeted the news “Hey so ya got me.. I’m blonde. Just tryin somethin new for a bit. I don’t have to look at me u do…don’t feel any different…” before revealing his new look.
You know for a while I have been thinking that they have been more and more alike and now with the lighter roots, I think they almost look like twins. I can’t think of any other band where two of the members started to resemble each other, but then again the Jersey group is not like any other band.
Today at 9p after 7 years Kyra Sedgwick says goodbye to The Closer and TNT says hello to its spinoff Major Crimes at 10p. Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson has been going through a lot recently and the death of her mom has changed everything for her and she is reevaluating her life. She is ready to make a decision that will change everything but something will happen that decides her fate forever. She will finally face off her arch nemesis one last time because what happens to one of them will be the final blow.
Tonight’s season finale is the perfect sendoff to Kyra Sedgwick and for The Closer.
Then at 10p Major Crimes is the perfect fix for everyone who is sad to say goodbye to The Closer. Mary McDonnell leads the LAPD’s Major Crimes division and GW Bailey, Tony Denison, Michael Paul Chan, Raymond Cruz and Phillip P Keene are all there to assist her. The show is pretty much the same, but without Kyra Sedgwick. Another change is we will get to know more about Captain Raydor’s life as she takes in a homeless juvenile who will be part of the series finale of The Closer.
Fans who are upset to say goodbye to The Closer will be very happy to say hello to Major Crimes.
Over the last year Miley Cyrus went from long brown hair to shoulder length blonde locks and now she has cut off into a punky bleached blonde bowl cut. Even though I along with a lot of people think she made a mistake, she doesn’t care because she said, “my dad @billyraycyrus used to tell me ‘opinions are are like ass holes every body has one’ LOVE my hair ⤠feel so happy, pretty, and free” It will be interesting to see if the producers of Two and a Half Men who just hired her recurring role as Jake’s Love interest according to E! will agree with me or her. Although the CBS sitcom did let Ashton Kutcher keep his scraggly long hair and a beard for a few episodes.
UPDATE: Miley Cyrus Tweeted a nude picture of herself without makeup and her new hair. It looks like she really loves her new hairdo much more than us. And at the end of the day that is all that really matters.
