Tonight at 10p on Comedy Central Roseanne is finally going to get what has been coming to her for a very long time and let’s just say she gives it as good as she takes it.
During the Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne Jane Lynch, Carrie Fisher, Katey Sagal, Ellen Barkin, Seth Green, Wayne Brady, Gilbert Gottfried, Jeffrey Ross, Amy Schumer and Anthony Jeselnik come together to honor the Sitcom Goddess. And as she says Comedy Central needs to look up the word honor because what they say about her isn’t exactly honorable, but it is very funny. There are so many jabs that the Roasters use on each other that you will be using them on your friends after you watch it. In fact this tamer Roast is the best one of them all because it is funny and mean, but not that mean. That is something that has kind of dampened the feel of the last few Roasts.
The surprise of the night comes when her ex-husband Tom Arnold was a last minute addition. At first he has us in stitches, but then he says something so sweet that you will be a fan of his forever. Personally I think that even though both of them are with other people, that they are going to hook up again. It is that sentimental.
Then just as you like awwww how sweet, Gilbert Gottfried will change the mood into one of a laugh out riot. They saved the best for last with him, but Ellen Barkin really gives him a run for her money with routine. Who knew she was so hilarious?
Actually all the roasters did a great job on tonight’s Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne at 10p, so don’t miss a single second of it or Roseanne will come to your house and sing the national anthem!
Last Saturday Roseanne’s oldest TV son and daughter came out to the Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne and they told me what they were looking forward to see happen to their TV mom on the special that airs tonight at 10p.
Lecy Goranson told me that this Roast has been a long time coming and she can’t wait to see Roseanne Barr put in her place. While Michael Fishman was there mostly to enjoy the show. Not only did DJ and Becky #1 sit in the audience, the two of them also Roasted their TV mom and you can tell it was all done with love and some revenge…

Frances Fisher came out for the Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne that airs tonight at 10p because her old friend asked her to. The two worked together on her sitcom back in 1988 and have remained friends since. So is she worried for her? She said that “Roseanne Barr is not afraid of anything and that is why we love her!” Amen to that!
So what does the does she have coming up? She is starring in Stephenie Meyer’s The Host, she just wrapped Red Wing and she is about to start working in Catherine Hardwick’s Plush. Tonight at 9p on USA’s limited series Political Animals America is in danger when they try to help a trapped Chinese nuclear sub that is spying in the waters near California. Secretary of State Elaine Barrish is doing everything in her power to save those men, but then she is told if America tries to rescue them they will think it is attack and release their bombs. If they do that, California will experience the fallout. Now she has to take that information to President Garcetti who then has to decide what to do. It is suspenseful decision that will keep you on the edge of your seats until he makes his decision.
But it isn’t only the country that Barrish has to save, she also has to try to save her son TJ who is in a coma after he ODed on drugs. How many lives will be lost in this episode? You will have to tune in to find out in show that keeps getting better with each episode.
And sadly next week is already the season finale for this limited run series that desperately needs to come back for many more season.
