Steven Tyler out
July 12th, 2012 under American Idol 9+. [ Comments: none ]

Fox announced today that Steven Tyler has opted to leave American Idol in order to do what the people he has been judging for the last two have not been able to. You know he is going to concentrate on his successful music career. The Aerosmith singer said this in the Fox statement, “After some long…hard…thoughts…I’ve decided it’s time for me to let go of my mistress ‘American Idol’ before she boils my rabbit,” said Tyler. “I strayed from my first love, AEROSMITH, and I’m back – but instead of begging on my hands and knees, I’ve got two fists in the air and I’m kicking the door open with my band. The next few years are going to be dedicated to kicking some serious ass – the ultimate in auditory takeover…On Nov. 6, we are unleashing our new album, Music from Another Dimension on the Earth, Moon, Mars, and way beyond the stars…IDOL was over-the-top fun, and I loved every minute of it…Now it’s time to bring Rock Back. ERMAHGERD.” I am going to miss my hometown boy being on the Fox singing competition, not because I watch the show anymore but because I will miss Jimmy Kimmel Live’s Creepy Leer of Nights.
Tyler’s departure makes room for Idol to hire a judge who is a third of his age and much less qualified, but have any of the judges actually offered anything worthwhile?
Personally I think Idol should get rid of the judges (since it looks J-Lo is also leaving and Randy Jackson should leave) and do what American Bandstand did to judge singles with the Rate-a-Records segment. Just let two fans from the audience rate the singers, since we are the ones who are or aren’t going to spend money on the winner’s CD. Personally I think we know more about music than the judges since we buy it and they just make it.

Remember Ke Huy Quan?
July 12th, 2012 under Ke Huy Quan, Remember?. [ Comments: 1 ]

Ke Huy Quan aka Jonathan Ke Quan came out for the London Film & Comic Con and the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom star looks just like he did when he did that movie 28 years ago. Seriously doesn’t the 40 year old look just the same as her did when he played Data in the 1985 movie Goonies. Still just as cute.

Daniel Tosh knows how to entertain a pack
July 12th, 2012 under Comedy Central. [ Comments: none ]

Daniel Tosh Tweeted the above cute picture and said “Worst crowd this year. I had to end every joke with ‘Treat'” Even though he said the magic word, you can tell they were like his yucks were nothing to bark at. I wonder how they would’ve reacted if ended every joke with word rape. Too soon?
Now when it comes to that scandal, and maybe because I fan of his but I will opt to defend him. Look rape jokes are never funny and what he said to that woman was 100% wrong, but I honestly think he was caught up in the adrenaline and didn’t think he before he spoke. He apologized for the stupid joke, so let’s move on. Now he does it again then we can burn him at the stake. Although he might like that?

Haylie Duff finds out what happens if you name your dog Birdie
July 12th, 2012 under Hilary Duff. [ Comments: none ]

Haylie Duff Tweeted the above picture and said “My blackeye from Birdie (my big dog).. Owner abuse!!” Actually I think the abuse started when she named her dog Birdie, he is a puppy not a birdy. He doesn’t fly, but the pooch sure does know hot give a black eye. Although she didn’t explain how the four-legged friend gave her the shiner, I wonder how man’s friend became her face’s worst enemy?

Steve Martin’s park is NYC’s best new attraction
July 12th, 2012 under David Letterman, Steve Martin. [ Comments: none ]

A few months ago someone suggested to David Letterman that he open a park outside his The Late Show studios in Manhattan, so he did. Well Steve Martin thought it was such a good idea, he opened up a park and let me tell you it has all the fringe benefits of Central Park but in one condensed area. Seriously I can’t wait to get back to NY just so I could go to park and see his grass that will leave you as high as a kite without actually flying one.
