Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart react to CNN and Fox’s big f*ck up!!!
June 29th, 2012 under Comedy Central. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday the Supreme Court of the United States ruled on Obamacare and CNN and Fox reported the wrong decision on their air at first. Well two of the most trusted names in news Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert ripped the band-aid off of their big booboos. Let’s just the Comedy Central men were not gentle when they took that that old bandage off the news networks very hairy arms. Ouch.
Seriously why didn’t the reporters and the producers insist on reading the documents before they reported what was decided. I mean I know most of the time the big news is on the first page, but as they learned the very hard way it isn’t always the way. Good thing Obamacare is still in effect because all the people who screwed up yesterday are going to need that health insurance when they fired for being a scapegoat. I mean if the news networks insisted on being right over first, the error would not have happened. Right?

The Man with the Iron Fists’ trailer knocked me out
June 28th, 2012 under Eli Roth. [ Comments: none ]

The trailer for RZA’s The Man with the Iron Fists’ reminds of those Bruce Lee movies I used to watch when I was a kid and because of that I want to see this movie when it comes out on December 21st. There was just something that was so much fun about those Kung Fu movies even though they were the most violent thing you can watch at such a young age and I want to relive it with this flick.

BTWF stand up: Louis C.K. at Catch a Rising Star
June 28th, 2012 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

Before Louis C.K. was a well known comedian who had his own show Louie, he did stand up at a small club in Boston. How funny was the 20 year testing out his jokes back in 1987.

Is Simon Cowell going through some tough economic times?
June 28th, 2012 under American Idol 9+, Simon Cowell. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since Simon Cowell left American Idol to do The X Factor things don’t seem to be as good for him and his shows. Plus the rumor is that he paid Britney Spears a lot of money to be on the Fox singing competition show. Up until now I never thought he would be hurting financially because he made a lot of money off his in front of and behind the camera work. But then today he Tweeted a picture of him riding a scooter and I have to wonder if the man that loves to drive very expensive cars is finally feeling what the rest of us are going through with this crappy economy? Nope he said this with the picture from the Providence auditions, “No car showed up for me today….” While I did get some satisfaction that he had to find his own way to get to work, I enjoyed my theory more.
