Before Tichina Arnold was living the luxurious LA life on Happily Divorced, she was living on Skid Row in Little Shop of Horrors. She looks the same now as she did when she was 25 in that 1986 movie

Jason Segel is so getting laid
March 14th, 2012 under Craig Ferguson, How I Met Your Mother, Jason Segel. [ Comments: none ]

Jason Segel was on The Late Late Show yesterday and Craig Ferguson asked him if he has a huge sexual imagination? Well the Muppets star got all nervous and then let the CBS late night host in a secret. He hasn’t had a serious girlfriend in about 8 years and what he misses most is cuddling. If ever an answer was going to get the How I Met Your Mother star laid that is it. Well that and combining that with seeing him naked in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

HBO’s Luck runs out of luck
March 14th, 2012 under HBO Max. [ Comments: none ]

You know the expression the third time is a charm? Well for HBO’s Luck it is the opposite. Even though the drama starring Dustin Huffman and Nick Nolte was picked up for a second season, HBO and the producers have opted to cancel the show after a third horse died while filming the show. The network released this statement about ending the show, “It is with heartbreak that executive producers David Milch and Michael Mann together with HBO have decided to cease all future production on the series LUCK. Safety is always of paramount concern. We maintained the highest safety standards throughout production, higher in fact than any protocols existing in horseracing anywhere with many fewer incidents than occur in racing or than befall horses normally in barns at night or pastures. While we maintained the highest safety standards possible, accidents unfortunately happen and it is impossible to guarantee they won’t in the future. Accordingly, we have reached this difficult decision. We are immensely proud of this series, the writing, the acting, the filmmaking, the celebration of the culture of horses, and everyone involved in its creation.”
The show’s EP also released a statement about ending the show, “The two of us loved this series, loved the cast, crew and writers. This has been a tremendous collaboration and one that we plan to continue in the future.”
I respect all involved for putting the horses lives ahead of financial gain. It is a shame that they weren’t able to make it work, but they made the righteous decision.

CBS goes pick up crazy
March 14th, 2012 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

Normally by this time the networks have started to announce what shows they have picked up for the next season, but so far things have been quiet. That was until today because CBS is the first network to announce a bunch of shows that will be back next year. The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother will be joined by Two Broke Girls and Mike & Molly. When it comes to dramas Blue Bloods, The Good Wife, NCIS, NCIS: LA, Criminal Minds, Hawaii Five-0, CSI, Person of Interest and The Mentalist will be back to entertain us. On the reality front Amazing Race and Undercover Boss will join Survivor on the airwaves. Still awaiting their fate are the other two CSIs, Unforgettable, A Gifted Man, Rob and Rules of Engagement. I think the latter has the best chance of coming back. Oh there is one more show that network is hoping to bring back and that is Two and a Half Men which is in talks to return for another season.
All in all I am happy with their choices.

Were we duped by a fake Uggie the Dog?
March 14th, 2012 under Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

The big star of this year’s awards season was Uggie the Dog from the Oscar winning movie The Artist. The beloved pooch was making the press rounds and attending awards shows, but that four-legged star might not have been the one that starred in the film. Jimmy Kimmel Live had “the pup” on his show to predict who would win the Academy Awards and a fan of the ABC late night show noticed that the movie dog and the press dog do not have the same markings. So Kimmel asked if Hollywood was duped by an imposter. I think we have been and don’t you agree?
You know how his owners said he retired? Well maybe he retired (to the big dog house in the sky) after the movie and his owners thought they could fake us all out. I want an explanation now because I call dog, I mean bullsh!t, on this reveal. I am barking mad. I am so upset, I am foaming at the mouth.
Tune into Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC tonight at midnight to see if there are more developments on the biggest Oscar scandal since Marisa Tomei won the gold stauette.
