Back in 1979 Mean Joe Green did a Super Bowl commercial for Coca Cola that is still talked about today. So 33 years later Downy is recreating it with the football legend himself for the their new product Unstoppables to air during the big game and it is brilliant. You know everyone is talking about how Matthew Broderick reprised his role as Ferris Bueller for Honda, but I think this is a much better coup with an ending that doesn’t stink.
Isn’t it crazy that except for a few grey hairs the 65 year old Defensive Tackle hasn’t aged a day since he played football professionally? Watch the original Coke commercial below and I dare you to tell me doesn’t look the same.
Jack Wagner’s contract was not picked up by The Bold and The Beautiful according to Wagner’s World. It is not known if he will continue on the show as recurring or if he is out completely. His fans are hoping that he will return to General Hospital, but I am not sure if I want Frisco Jones back on the show without Felicia. They were the perfect couple.
BTW isn’t it interesting that his contract was not renewed on a soap opera as soon as real life turned into one. You know finding out about a daughter he never knew about, splitting with his fiancee shortly after he got engaged and then it is reported that he got into a fight with her and the police were called in over it.
I think B&B made a huge mistake because they should use his real life to write stories for the daytime drama, it is better than anything else they have done recently. I assuming that because I have never watched the show.
Two weeks ago Volkswagen released an ad with several dogs barking the Star Wars theme and now they released one with a dog being watched by aliens in at bar called The Dog Strikes Back. Personally I loved the Super Bowl commercial until they brought the bar scene in, although they had a great ending that left me gasping for air.
Before Natasha Henstridge was a witch on The Secret Circle, she was a killer alien in Species. She looks the same now as she did when she was 20 in that 1995 movie
