Alec Baldwin has some Words with American Airlines
December 6th, 2011 under Alec Baldwin. [ Comments: 1 ]

Alec Baldwin was kicked off of an American Airlines flight today from LA for playing Words with Friends on his iPad. Shortly after he got the boot he Tweeted what happened by saying, “Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving. #nowonderamericaairisbankrupt”. He didn’t stop there he then went on a rant by saying, “But, oddly, 30 Rock plays inflight on American. #theresalwaysunited” and “Now on the 3 o’clock American flight. The flight attendants already look…..smarter.#theresalwaysunited Last flight w American. Where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950’s find jobs as flight attendants.” Why are the older flight attendants more stringent than the younger ones? I noticed that on the flights I have taken.
Now back to the 30 Rock star, what was the word he was playing when he got reamed a new one? He said, “Now, as I was kicked off this flight, the word I was playing was UNITED” Personally I think he should try JetBlue next time because they are a much more lax airline with nicer stewards and stewardesses!
Now we know his side, what is the other side? According to The NY Daily News, a source says he was ejected after not turning off his iPad and then getting up insisting for the name of the stewardess. They added that the confrontation was loud enough to get the captain out of the cockpit and it was actually the big guy on the plane that called for him to be taken off the plane.
Since Alec took his case to Twitter, so did American Airlines that Tweeted this to him, “@AlecBaldwin Mr. Baldwin, we are looking into this. Please DM us contact information.” No word he DMed them, but it could be because he is on a AA flight to NY as I type this.
BTW anyone else think that Kevin Smith and him should do a movie about a horrible trip and trying to get home after getting booted off of a plane? I would pay to see it.

It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas on Syfy with Eureka, Warehouse 13 and Haven!
December 6th, 2011 under Syfy. [ Comments: none ]

Starting tonight at 8p on Syfy three of their enjoyable scripted shows Eureka, Warehouse 13 and Haven each get their own Christmas tales.
First up is Eureka and this holiday special is very animated, as in the cast and the town are turned into different cartoon like characters throughout the hour after Alison and Jack’s kids start reading a special book that only Eureka can create. It wouldn’t be so much of a problem if it was only them; but since it is a children’s book they are reading scary monsters have entered the story and they are very destructive. Will they get a happily ever after ending or is their book closed forever?
Then at 9p it is time for Warehouse 13 to take a turn on Santa’s Sleigh with their version of It’s A Wonderful Life. Pete accidentally touches an artifact that makes it like he never existed. In fact not only does no one remember him, everyone and everything is different. Artie is no longer running Warehouse 13, Claudia is still in a mental institution and Myka never heard of W13. That would be OK, but an evil face from the past is now running the place we know and it is up to Pete to somehow turn things around. Will he be able to prove that he exists and save Warehouse 13 or will we get to know a whole group of agents?
Lastly as the Egg Nog is starting to kick in, Haven will share a story that will make you appreciate everyone in your life. It seems to be a normal day in Haven except that the town is literally celebrating Christmas in July and they don’t know why. It should be a happy town, but little by little the population is starting to dwindle away like they never existed until only Audrey and the Troubled person are left. Will she be able to convince that person to bring everyone back from where ever they are or will Haven’s sign now read Population 2?
Tune into find out all of those answers on a pleasurable night on Syfy! While everyone is doing the sweet sugar plum versions of Christmas, Syfy is giving us one we can appreciate just as much and one that it isn’t so sickeningly sweet!
In all sincerity I am extremely happy that Syfy is spreading some Christmas Cheer because it is nice to have a different take on the holiday! So thank you Syfy for this wonderful annual Christmas treat!
BTW you don’t have to watch any of this shows on regular basis to enjoy them, so check why not them out. You never you, your New Year’s Resolution might be to add them to your viewing schedule when they come back with regular episodes in 2012.
Lastly now that Eureka (is sadly) ending, I wonder what show will replace it next X-Mas? Will it be Alphas using their abilities to find out if a man who claims to be Old Saint Nick really is him? Or what about Being Human seeing the actual Christmas spirit and trying to share its thought with the world?

166 of 2011’s movies in 8 minutes!
December 6th, 2011 under Movies. [ Comments: none ]

Some guy made an 8 minute video with clips from 166 of 2011’s movies and I am in awe of him! What he did is f*cking brilliant and the way he made it all flow like he did, this guy should be given a job editing trailers for a living instead of living to edit trailers. Seriously isn’t this just freaking awesome? Someone get Brian Grazer on the phone ASAP and tell him to hire him for the Oscars because he obviously knows the films better the Academy!

Not all the movies from this past year made the list and he listed the below reason why they weren’t in the video.
– Abduction, because fuck that movie.
– Jack & Jill, because fuck that movie.
– Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked, Mars Needs Moms, Mr. Popper’s Penguins, Bucky Larson, Atlas Shrugged: Part I, and I Don’t Know How She Does It, for similar reasons.
– Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, Glee: The 3D Concert Movie, and The Human Centipede 2, because I edited this in a public place and people would’ve looked at me funny.
– No Strings Attached, because the video had this weird green line at the bottom and I didn’t care for it.
– Win Win, The Sitter, and The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, because I found nothing visually striking in their trailers.
– Arthur Christmas, Jumping the Broom, Something Borrowed, and Gnomeo and Juliet, because I was struck by an incredible apathy towards all of them
.
And here is a list of all 166 films, how many did you get and how many did you forget came out this year?

Do Lea Michele and Ashton Kutcher have something to tell us?
December 6th, 2011 under Ashton Kutcher, Glee, Lea Michele. [ Comments: 1 ]

WireImage
Lea Michele and Ashton Kutcher were photographed together on the red carpet at the premiere of their new movie and I wonder if the two New Year’s Eve stars have something to tell. I think on this one we will have to wait and see because it looks like something is up. Especially since this what Lea Tweeted to him after the premiere, “@aplusk it was such an honor working with you. I cannot thank you enough.” I wonder how she plans to thank him?!?
Although she might be too young for him since she is closer to his ex-stepdaughters age than his soon-to-be-ex-wife Demi Moore.
