13 year old Rachel Crow is more mature than Nicole Scherzinger
December 11th, 2011 under American Idol 9+, Nicole Scherzinger. [ Comments: 1 ]

On Thursday there was a shocking elimination on The X Factor when an indecisive Nicole Scherzinger left it up to the popular vote to decide who would go home. Eliminated was 13 year old Rachel Crow, who broke down in tears when Steve Jones read her name aloud. She was not alone because Nicole Scherzinger did the same. In fact the judge was still inconsolable when the show wrapped for the night and the teenager had to go into her dressing room to calm her down. That’s right the little girl was more mature than the woman who is 20 years her senior. To me that is sad.
That is not the only thing I thought was sad about what happened, it was disgusting how Steve Jones pushed that boy away who was trying to comfort his fellow contestant. He told the guy to get off the stage because he was safe. Seriously WTF? Steve Jones then continued on with the show like there wasn’t a little girl on the floor balling. He also asked Nicole how she felt about the elimination and turned her back to the camera. Seriously it is actions like Jones’ that give the English reputation for being cold. They are not but that is what does it.
Now when it comes to Rachel Crow and Astro, I think that they are too young to compete on a national show like The X Factor. It is obvious by how they reacted when they were in the bottom two and/or eliminated. Kids need to be kids and not competing for $5 million dollars. Yes there are kids who are acting and such, but when they don’t get the job it is in the privacy of their own home and not in front of millions of viewers. They are too young to handle that pressure.
Hopefully next year Fox will change things up for the show like making the minimum auditioning age older and getting rid of Steve Jones, Nicole Scherzinger and LA Reid. You know Simon Cowell regrets firing Cheryl Cole for Scherzinger. When it comes to LA Reid, where was he when Rachel was eliminated? Paula and Simon were there and the Randy Jackson lookalike was no where to be found.
Here is the shocking elimination from The X Factor, and it reconfirms why I opted not to watch the Fox show.

Slam dunk, a Kardashian traded!
December 11th, 2011 under The Kardashians. [ Comments: 2 ]

(photo from Lamar Odom’s Twitter)

The Los Angeles Lakers have traded Lamar Odom to the Dallas Mavericks and that means his wife Khloe Kardashian will follow her man. The youngest sister of the three Kardashian will be leaving the pack and traveling to the Lone Star State. What that means the Kardashian Klan only time and E! will tell, but I think it is a start for them to slowly go away.
So how does Khloe feel about leaving her family and basically fame? Here is what she Tweeted, “I am sure I will love it but I am a tad thrown off” If worse comes to worse, she can always come back but let’s hope she stays there!
One Kardashian down, many more to go!

Was jailers the word Alec Baldwin was playing when he got kicked off the flight?
December 11th, 2011 under Alec Baldwin, Saturday Night Live. [ Comments: none ]

As we all know Alec Baldwin was kicked off of an American Airlines flight for refusing to stop playing Words with Friends when the stewardess told him to. Ever since the incident the 30 Rock star has been quiet about what happened, but yesterday he broke his silence on Saturday Night Live. Well technically he did because instead of going on as himself, he went as the Captain Steve Rogers on Weekend Update and apologized to himself for what happened. I wonder if after that he is not only on American Airlines “Do Not Fly” list, but everyone elses too?

Against the Wall hits Lifetime’s wall
December 11th, 2011 under Lifetime. [ Comments: none ]

Lifetime has opted not to renew Against the Wall according to one of the star’s of the cancelled show. Brandon Quinn Tweeted, “I’d like to thank @lifetimetv, the #AgainstTheWall writers and the Amazing fans of Against The Wall but unfortunately we’ve been canceled :(” I think the problem with this drama it had Treat Williams and Kathy Bates starring as Abby’s parents, yet it didn’t utilize their amazing talents. If they would’ve Treat more, I sincerely think the show would be still on the air. Well that and if it was more entertaining, but it moved to slow and never made you like any of the characters.
