Thomas Jane was doing an interview with The LA Times and his answer to a question gave a reveal about his life that I am sure no one saw cumming, I mean coming. The star of Hung who plays a male prostitute with a huge pen!s was asked why the “gay media” has been giving him grief and the interviewer gave him chance to respond to why he thinks that is the case. He explained, “Hey, you grow up as an artist in a big city, as James Dean said, you’re going to have one arm tied behind your back if you don’t accept people’s sexual flavors. You know, when I was a kid out here in L.A., I was homeless, I didn’t have any money and I was living in my car. I was 18. I wasn’t averse to going down to Santa Monica Boulevard and letting a guy buy me a sandwich. Know what I mean?”
He then went on to talk about his sexuality and the interview concluded with him answering if he thinks homo/heterosexuality is a choice by saying “I don’t know. I think up to a point it’s a choice. But I’ll tell you what — it’s not a choice until you’re open enough to experience both male and female sexuality. Until you’ve tasted the food, you don’t know whether you’ll like it or not, as my mom always said.” I don’t think it has ever been put quite like that and I am not sure it ever will again.
Before Anthony Michael Hall was seeing the future (and past) on The Dead Zone, he was told not to see who he was seeing in The Gold Bug. You can barely recognize the 11 year old actor in that 1980 ABC Weekend Special. Kind of like I wonder when I look at him now is that the same guy we fell in love with when he was starring in the Brat Pack movies?
Tonight at 9p is the two-hour season finale of Warehouse 13 on Syfy and I think it is the best finale of the season.
Anthony Michael Hall plays Sykes and all he wants is to get his revenge on Warehouse 13 for taking away his ability to walk. The artifact was taken away from him when he was a kid because of the evil effects it has on its holder. Sadly the agents got to him too late and the darkness took over him. Now decades later he is seeking his revenge and he will get it big time. I won’t tell you too much because it is such a powerful episode you have to watch every minute as it happens. What I will tell you is there is one scene that will leave with you chills. About halfway through the season finale you will hear Track & Field’s version of Running Up That Hill and when you do you need to give the show your full attention. The song is perfect for the scene because it will leave you with chills when you find out what happens. What does happen will change a member of the team in a way you never thought they could.
There are several deaths in this episode and the most shocking one will come at the end. I will stop there because I can’t tell you anymore. I fear if I do Syfy will send me an artifact in the mail…and not one of the ones that has a positive effect on its holder.
Seriously whether you have been watching Warehouse 13 or you have never seen an episode, you should watch the two hour season finale because it is great TV. Something the new fall season has been missing.
Yesterday Nia Vardalos Tweeted, “@JohnStamos had your yogurt, pretended you were shirtless serving it to me.” And today John Stamos Tweeted back, “have again tomo and you won’t have to pretend!” So how did she respond to his Tweet, she said “Eating Oikos yogurt in my wedding dress, where u at??” So just when I thought they had something to tell us, guess not. Well that and she is happily married to Cougar Town’s Ian Gomez.
BTW when I saw his response Tweet to her, I ReTweeted her Tweet because I would love to have him feed me that Dannon Greek Yogurt shirtless. Not only because it is my favorite Greek yogurt, but because he is my favorite Greek!!!
Finally Steven Weber (who I don’t think is Greek) had the best response to their Tweets because he said, “AP: FOX picks up “Two Greeks and a Yoghurt Stand” for the fall.” Hopefully he can play their non-Greek friend.
