Are you suffering from Total Eclipse of the Heart?
July 14th, 2011 under Bonnie Tyler, Meat Loaf/Jim Steinman. [ Comments: none ]

Thirty years ago when Jim Steinman wrote Total Eclipse of the Heart, I bet he never thought that people could be diagnosed with it but they are. Drug Puppy made a video showing us what the symptoms are and how the diagnosis is made. So if you get a little bit nervous that the best of all the years have gone by and are a little bit terrified, then see the look in your eyes and go to the doctor to get tested ASAP.
I have to wonder if the light in your life goes out from Total Eclipse of the Heart, does Bonnie Tyler sing at your funeral?

Blake Shelton likes Pina Colada and making love at midnight!!!
July 14th, 2011 under Blake Shelton, Jimmy Fallon, The Voice. [ Comments: none ]

Blake Shelton was on Late Night yesterday and Jimmy Fallon wouldn’t let him leave until he answer a few more questions. Do you like Pina Colada? And getting caught in the rain? Do you like making love at midnight? To which he responded by going into a duet of Rupert Holmes’ The Escape aka The Pina Colada Song with the host. I admit, I am a total newbie fan of Mr Dimples thanks to The Voice and his singing voice is as deep and as beautiful as his dimples on his cheeks on his face! And hellz yes, I would like to see if he has matching ones on his other cheeks!
Now back to the duet, didn’t their voices sound as cool together as a Pina Colada? I think the country singer should put it on his next album since his new one Red River Blue just came out on Tuesday!
On a side note years ago my dad was starring in a production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood in Nyack, NY and Rupert Holmes (who wrote it) came to one of the performances and gave an amazing speech about how much he liked their version of it. He is a really cool dude, just like the song!

I hope what Craig Ferguson did to Rose Byrne didn’t damage her!
July 14th, 2011 under Craig Ferguson. [ Comments: none ]

Rose Byrne was on The Tonight Show and she told Jay Leno how she did research with male strippers for the movie Bridesmaids and described what one of them did to her. Before the Damages star came out Craig Ferguson (he cheated on his show to be on the one that competes with boss’) was a guest on the show and stayed out on the stage for her interview. So of course he took opportunity to reenact what she was saying and neither one of them seemed to mind. Especially Jay who got an up close look of The Late Late Show’s tight arse as he smacked himself on it. Who knew that only that Craig had such a fine bum and that he was such a good stripper. His wife is a lucky woman!!!
