Curt Smith’s This is Christmas brings Tears of Joy!
November 28th, 2010 under Christmas Music, Tears For Fears. [ Comments: none ]

Tears for Fears’ Curt Smith is releasing his first original holiday song in his 30 year music career tomorrow and it is called This is Christmas. The background vocals features his two daughters Diva and Wilder, and a local school’s choir. The song doesn’t only have his family involved with it, but that is what it is about because here is how he described it, “an adult visiting his parents at Christmas and lamenting how he’s always made to feel like a child when he returns home. It culminates in his realization and acceptance that they’re family after all, and nothing will (or even should) change that.” Let’s be real we all know that no matter how old we get, when we go home we are like children all over again. Saying that everyone can relate to this future Christmas classic so download it at iTunes and Amazon starting tomorrow, or get an autograph copy via Curt Smith’s website.
And if listening to it on your computer or iPod isn’t enough, you will be able to hear it on December 15th on USA’s Psych. The show that Curt Smith made his acting debut on earlier in the year!
Lastly Smith will be playing several solo LA shows next year before touring with the Tears for Fears on the West Coast and South America. I know I am going to go see the man who sings my all time favorite song Mad World!!! And I mean the TFF version and not the others.

South Park takes Shake Weight down to a whole new level!
November 28th, 2010 under Comedy Central, South Park. [ Comments: none ]

SNL, Jimmy Kimmel Live and several other shows have made fun of the Shake Weight, but none of them have done it as brilliantly as South Park did in their season finale! What they did was so wrong, that it makes me want to buy one even more. So make sure you are alone, turn down the lights, grab your Shake Weight and watch the all-time low South Park took the exercise tool down to.
xoxo Mark and Ayn!!!

Triassic Attacks tonight on Syfy!
November 27th, 2010 under Syfy. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p on Syfy in Triassic Attack, a Native American owner of a kitschy roadside museum accidentally brings to life three dinosaur fossils and the town should be very afraid. Now they are really annoyed and the giant dinos are wreaking havoc on the small town and the university. The only person that knows how to stop them is the museum owner and when he dies there is only one other person who can do it. Will she be able to figure it out before the 3 dinos destroy everyone and everything in their path? You will have to tune in to find out.
Eureka’s Colin Ferguson makes his TV movie directorial debut and he does a great job of directing the skeleton dinosaurs on a murderous rampage. In fact the CGIed skeleton dinos were done so well that they almost look lifelike! So tune in for a movie that will scare the skeleton out of you!

What did Zachary Levi do with Brobee?
November 27th, 2010 under NBC, Zachary Levi. [ Comments: none ]

Zachary Levi Tweeted the above pictures and said, “My ‘stache provider,” and I want to know what he did to get that green mustache? Looks like Borbee made Chuck go Yo Gabba Gabba or is it the other way around? Now that I think about it, I don’t want to know how he got that green furry patch above his lip.

A TSA PSA
November 27th, 2010 under Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

The Transportation Security Administration is taking a lot crap this holiday season because of the extra security measures they have to go through. So thanks to Jimmy Kimmel Live they released a Public Service Announcement telling their side of the story and I feel so bad for them. I feel so bad, I am going to go over to the airport right now and let them pat me over and over again and not complain once about it. Well unless they are doing it wrong!!!
