Yesterday was the Algonquin Hotel cat’s 15th birthday and they threw Matilda a party that was fitting for each of her nine lives! Her feline friends got dressed up to the nines for the occasion and not one of them looked happy about it. But one group of animals that are very happy about her party are the 4-legged ones with tails at the North Shore Animal League America because proceeds from the party are going to one of the largest no-kill shelter in the world!
OK I am off to dress my cat up like of the pussies that attended Matilda’s bash! If I don’t post anything for a while, please call 911 and tell them to bring blood…lots and lots of blood!!!

James Denton took his two kids to the “Smiles Across America” Campaign Launch With Chris O’Donnell and it made me smile seeing him with them! Seriously how cute is that picture of him with his son Sheppard, 7 and his daughter Malin O’Brien, 5? I love that picture of Malin kissing her Desperate Daddy.

Yesterday Mayim Bialik did a fashion no-no in the Hollywood world, Blossom attended two events in a little over two months in the same dress. Yesterday she attended the Disney/Pixar “World Of Cars Online” Launch Event in the same black and white zebra like dress that she also wore at the Melanie Segal’s Celebrity S.O.S (Save Our Seas) Lounge a little over two months beforehand. For any other lifestyle that would be OK, but in Hollywood that is a major faux pas. That and it is a little too tight for her figure, it needs to flair out little more around the stomach area. At least that is how it looks via the pictures. But other than that it looks like What Not to Wear worked on her because she looks great!
Betty White made one of her hysterical appearances on CBS’s The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and she was on fire yesterday! Not only because she is now a firewoman to fund her psychic friends hotline addiction, but because I think it was one of the funniest interactions between Craig and her! Make sure to watch it all way through just to listen to the phone message the Hot in Cleveland star left for him ala Mel Gibson style. I can’t believe some of the stuff that came out of her mouth, but she had every reason to be upset with him. Actually just watch the whole thing because you will be LYAO several times!!!
Seriously I just love when Miss Betty White is on the show. I really wish those two had sitcom together along with the nicest man in Hollywood Henry Winkler! You know Betty could be the mom and The Fonz and Mr Wick could be her sons from two different fathers and they don’t get along, but for different reason both of them have to move back in with their mom! Wouldn’t that be hysterical? I know I would watch every time it was on!!!
Since 1976 Cathy has graced our newspapers, but on October 3rd she is coming to an end. Cathy Guisewite told AP even though her decision was excruciating, her “‘creative biological clock’ is ticking and she has other things she wants to pursue.” She did not elaborate what she will be pursuing, but I am sad to see this comic go. When I was kid I loved reading Cathy, and I am sad other kids will not be able to do the same.
Cathy is the second long-time comic strip to end this year, the sun stopped coming out for Little Orphan Annie in June. I hope Cathy is the last one to end for a while because, I don’t know about you but I loved reading comics when I was younger!
