This season the ratings are down and for some shows they are down more than others. The Live Feed posted which shows took the biggest hits and the news is bad for the shows that moved to Friday including Ugly Betty that took a really big hit.
Til Death (-48.4%), Ugly Betty (-46.2%) Smallville (-39.8%), Heroes (-35.3%), Fringe” (-33.4%), Gossip Girl (-30.9%), 90210 (-28.3%), One Tree Hill (-25.3%), CSI (-23.2%), Cold Case (-22.5%), Supernatural (-22.4%) and 30 Rock (-21.4%).
While the news was bad for the above shows, some shows like the hysterical The Big Bang Theory found a lot of new viewers.
Big Bang Theory (+35.7%), Private Practice (+27.0%), Biggest Loser (+21.2%), NCIS” (+14.9%) and House (+13.4%)
I am not surprised by the drops by most of the show that took big hits because the quality of most of those shows have declined sharply. Ugly Betty might’ve gotten a makeover, but the show got a makeunder in its storylines. The cast of Gossip Girl might be in their freshman year of college, but they are living like they are in their 30’s and just lost their feel. One Tree Hill lost two of its original cast members, but it also feels like they lost their way. CSI lost William Petersen and now the show is just lost. The only show that I am shocked that is losing its audience is Supernatural which is having a lot of fun this season.
When it comes to the shows that got more viewers, The Big Bang Theory deserves everyone of them because the show just keeps getting better and better. To be honest I am surprised that House is doing better because I am not feeling it this season.

Ashlee Simpson made her Chicago debut on Broadway yesterday and WireImage photographed her curtain call. I never knew you could actually see how bad someone’s acting could be through flash camera images, well that was until now. Or it could be I am flashbacks of her being on Melrose Place and those painful memories are just coming back to me. Thankfully we only have to suffer through two more episodes (tonight and next Tuesday) of her playing Violet on The CW show!
BTW Ashlee and her sister, Jessica Simpson make the oddest faces. What is up with that?

The normally pale skinned Rebecca De Mornay went to the premiere Up In The Air with a tan, but sadly her foundation was for her pre-tan skin causing to suffer from clown face. Don’t you just hate when that happens?
We all know that the remake of The Karate Kid is going to be crap, and now that HitFix posted some pictures from the movie we can see just how bad it is going to be. I can’t even begin to express my disdain for this movie, the casting, the fact they call this is a remake when it is a completely new movie and now the pictures. I liked Jackie Chan, but let’s be real Pat Morita is turning over in his grave over these pictures. Mr Myagi would never ever dress like that, he would dress in traditional clothing and not modern day sweat with a baseball cap. And Jaden Smith is just too little to be taken seriously.
Hey Will Smith next time you want to do a movie for your son’s hobbies, don’t say it is a remake and just say it is a movie about Karate.
I will say something positive, the background is absolutely gorgeous.

Yesterday William Shatner was on NBC’s The Tonight Show talking about he was the 4th Sexiest Man on some list. So Conan O’Brien for some reason was pointing his finger at him and The Shat decided to pull it saying that would make go up on the list because that is sexy. In fact he pulled his finger twice, but unfortunately he didn’t fart once. Now that would’ve been funny. While that didn’t make me laugh, I did get a chuckle when Shatner tried another way to move up the list by putting on a pair of fangs and be a Vampire, but sadly they were so small you couldn’t even see them.
BTW am I the only one who finds William Shatner sexy? There is just something so suave about him, it kind of turns me on!
