After touring the country, the hysterical Brovie (Bro-movie) I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell, that is out on Friday, September 25th had its Hollywood premiere and I was there at the Arclight to cover it!!!
I have to admit I never heard of Tucker Max and his sexual escapades before this movie and after seeing I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell loosely based on his life, I can’t wait to read his book! He told me he has another book coming out in February and wait until you hear the title of his next best seller. Also on Friday when I post my interview with him, you will hear about one the drunkest moments in his life!
Jesse Bradford plays a bitter sarcastic wise cracking guy who was just broke up with is girlfriend because he walked in on her blowing some cheesy rapper and let me tell you he is f*cking brilliant in the role. Even though he plays an a$$hole in the movie, I was oddly attracted to him. Later on in the week, you will have to hear what his favorite obnoxious line is that he said in the movie!
Traci Lords has a crappy part in this movie, but you will be seriously laughing your a$$ off when you see her scene in it. She told me her next movie, Au Pair Kansas will be hitting the festival circuit soon and unlike this movie it is a serious one.
Brooke Long plays a stripper who Tucker Max dumps for Bridgette the Midget. But even though Tucker Max doesn’t want her, she is doing OK because her next movie is Iron Man 2 playing an Ironette. For you boys who want to spend April 2010, you pick up the 2010 SNI Calendar with her in it!
Elise Ivy has one of the best nicknames in any movie, it is Mary Queen of Twats and when you see the movie you will understand why she gets the name. Coming up she is starring in a movie called Please Give.
Ali Costello plays a bachelorette who has the misfortune of meeting Tucker max and his friends at her party with Mary Queen of Twats. Next up she is starring in the movie Burn Off.
Susie Abromeit plays one of Tucker Max’s many loves in the movie. Next up for she is a doing an urban legend movie for SyFy called Moth Man and she is also starring in Battle: Los Angles with Ne-Yo and Aaron Eckhart that filmed in Shreveport, LA the same place they filmed IHTSBIH.
Veronica Rayne had a difficult role in the movie, she played herself. She also told me that when she was filming in the movie she found out that she went to high school with co-star Keri Lynn Pratt and that Tucker Max went to their rival school. Talk about small world. Next month you can see her in the Swollen Members music video for Porn Star.
Bob Gosse directed this ultimate Brovie that guys will be watching religiously for years to come. When I asked him what was the Seriously? OMG! moment in the movie, he told me it is on that comes towards the end of the movie and let me tell you it is one of the biggest Seriously? OMG! moments in any movie in a really long time.
Shane Sparks came out to the premiere because he heard this was going to be a fun movie and we talked So You Think You Can Dance and who he thinks should win America’s Best Dance Challenge! I really like Shane, so it was super cool to meet one of the best choreographers from SYTYCD!
I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell is a hysterical brovie that will have you laughing so hard and so many scenes that will you will be talking about for years to come! It has a great cast and for you guys lots of pretty girls that you will want to run out and see this movie on Friday when it comes out and buy the DVD when it is available because you will want to watch this movie over and over again with your bromates on those drunken nights that you are stuck at home. Jimmy Kimmel must have the cojones of steel because he actually dared to do Kanye West while Brandon Flowers was talking during a Killers’ show. I say dare because a few years ago The Killers were on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and they let him know how they prep for their shows. And as you can see from the skit below they live up to their name. If you have never seen how The Killers got their name before, you really have to watch the below video. It is on of the funniest bits I have ever seen on TV!!!
BTW David Duchovny will be a guest on JKL! tonight on ABC at 12:05a…that is if The Killers didn’t kill him for doing a Kanye to them!
Tuesday night’s highest rated show NCIS is getting its first spinoff tonight on CBS at 9p called NCIS: Los Angeles. Just like the original they will be solving Naval crimes, but unlike the show that airs at 8p it takes place in Los Angeles and stars Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J. As soon as you see these two on the screen together, you can tell that they have awesome chemistry. And that chemistry plays well as they try to solve their first case back together after Chris O’Donnell’s character G returns to his job after being shot 6 months beforehand. Their first case is full of twists and turns with an ending you will never see coming. I was watching the whole episode on the edge of my seat waiting to see how it would all play out and I can’t wait for next week’s case because tonight’s was so good. I think this show along with the original are going to make CBS a dynamo on Tuesday nights.
BTW I have to admit as good as LL and Chris are on the show, my favorite character is Hetty played by the remarkable Linda Hunt. She is one tough cookie I would hate to have as my office manager, but I love watching her on NCIS: Los Angeles.
After NCIS: Los Angeles, The Good Wife premieres on CBS at 10p. I have to admit when I got the screener for this show I wanted to hate it because I am not a fan of Juliana Margulies, but I actually liked it. The show starts off with Juliana playing a politician’s wife whose husband was caught with his pants down…literally. Being The Good Wife she stands by her man, but with him going to jail she need to step up and become the man in the house. She takes a job as a lawyer at an old colleague’s firm after being a stay-at-home mom for all the years she supported her husband’s career, and it is not going to be an easy transition for her. Her cases are tough, but she is good at what she does and she will get through the day as a lawyer and a mom! Besides dealing with the hard pro-bono cases, she is also competing with I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell’s Matt Czuchry for a position at the company and he really wants the job and will doing anything to get it!
So if you are looking for a Good show to watch at 10p on Tuesday The Good Wife is for you!
Talk about Bromance, Bostonian BFFs Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are living on different coasts and Matt Damon says he can’t stand being apart from the man he shares an Oscar win with according to IOL.
He said: “Myself and Ben have two girls within six months of each other. It’s a strong argument to buy a house there and be near Ben.
“We will see how the little kids do. If the winter is too tough, we might move to Los Angeles. All my friends with kids live there.â€
Matt isn’t kidding about their kids being close in age. Their oldest daughters Violet Affleck was born in December 1, 2005 and Isabella Damon on June 11, 2006 and their baby girls Gia Damon was born on August 20, 2008 and Seraphina Affleck on January 6, 2009. How much fun would it be for the paparazzi and us if Matt moved here and both Jennifer Garner and Luciana got pregnant at the same time and compared baby bumps as their five little girls played together?
No word how their f*ck buddies Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman feel about the two reuniting on the same coast?
Tonight at 9p is a big episode for The CW’s Melrose Place. First we will finally find out how Sydney was able to survive to Melrose Place 1.0 to make it to the Melrose Place 2.0. Second Josie Bissett is back as Jane Mancini on Melrose Place and she exclusively told me about her new job on the show!!!
Josie Bissett told me she was excited to come back as Jane Mancini as soon as she found out that they were bringing back the show that made her household name! When I asked her what it was like to see the new set for her old show on a different network, she told me “The set looks the same but better, more updated, remodeled, looks amazing. So it was just surreal is the best way I can put it.” And for those of you who have been enjoying the show as much as I am, you can totally see what she talking about!
Now back to Jane and what she is up to, she is still a trying to make it as a fashion designer, and now thanks to her sister’s death she will have a new job to add to her resume…the landlord of Melrose Place. Yes, she will be taking over the job that was vacated by Sydney when she was found stabbed face down in that famous pool. So I had to ask what she thinks of her new residents that are living at her old address and you have to check out the interview to see how Jane feels about them! Believe you are going to love to hear her answer as much as we love her as Jane Manicini!!! (Side note: I asked if I can run this interview today even though I said I would hold it. I would never to lie to someone without permission!)
On a Josie note, besides being back on The CW’s Melrose Place tonight at 9p, she is also starring on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of an American Teenager and she also writes children’s books! Boy she is keeping busy!
BTW there is some huge Melrose Place news, Heather Locker will be back as Amanda Woodward starting on November 17th for an unknown amount of an episodes!!! Looks like Melrose Place will be with us through November sweeps now which is a very good thing!!!
