James Spader tells Jam! Showbiz that there are nude pictures of him from the early ’90s out there and he wants to stop them before they become public. The Sex, Lies and Videotape star says that while he was vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard he decided to lay out naked when some guy decided to snap pix of him in his birthday suit. So why would the actor during his hay day be all worried about these photos so much? Here is what they told them…
He says, “I had been acting for maybe a decade at the time, so I was really not that recognisable, but enough… I noticed way down the beach this guy, fully clothed, walking toward me. And I notice he’s got a newspaper under his arm. And now I notice he’s got a camera. And I’m thinking, I don’t know, maybe he’s a tourist. I wasn’t that savvy. And of course, being a guy, the only thing I could think is that I just gotten out of the cold water.”
How cute is it that he is nervous about the pix getting out there because he wasn’t standing at his best because he just came out of the cold water. Shrinkage or not, I want to see those pictures! Granted if they were from his Tuff Turf days that would be even better! That was such a great movie, totally rent it if you haven’t seen it!!!
BTW for some reason I feel the need to mention that his next movie Shorts (seems appropriate to mention it now, no?) is out on August 21st.
Saw 6 won’t be out until October 23rd, but Lionsgate isn’t waiting until then to announce that there will be a Saw 7. Variety says that someone who worked on a bunch of the Saws will write it and someone else who worked on some of the other Saws will direct it when they start production in January. It is crazy how Jigsaw has had such longevity and doesn’t look like he will wind up like most of the people in his movies…dead any time soon.
Now when it comes to the motion poster for Saw VI, I so love that Lionsgate has been doing them for their movies and I wish more studios would do it too! How cool would it be if Warner Bros did one for The Final Destination of the car wash scene or if The Weinstein Company did one for Donnie Donowitz killing one of the Nazis with his baseball bat in Inglourious Basterds.
John Stamos just recently joined Twitter and I am so glad that he did. Besides his really cute Tweets, he is posting awesome photos from his past like this one that is the last picture of the whole Full House cast together! This picture of the Tanners, The Katsopolises and Joey all together for one last bow brings back such fond memories of that fun family show. I so miss John Stamos with that dreamy hair!!!
BTW if you are in NYC in the fall, he will be starring in Bye Bye Birdie starting on September 10th!!!

So tonight was the much hyped appearance of Katie Holmes on So You Think You Can Dance and let’s just say she is not a triple threat. She proved she can’t sing nor live up to the last word of the title of the show she was on…dance. Seriously what choreography was in that number for her, I can’t dance and I can do those moves. In fact I think it looked almost exactly like the routine she did on Eli Stone and she was better in that one. Judy Garland would not be happy about that rendition of Get Happy.
