Farrah Fawcett lost her battle with anal cancer today at the age of 62 according to Extra. We first got to know Farrah for her beauty on Charlie’s Angels and then we watched her grow as an actress in her role in The Burning Bed. But it was her last role will leave us with her biggest legacy, her courageous battle with cancer. We watched as she was first diagnosed with the disease and we followed her as she fought it with all her might and then last month we saw her up close as she told her story of her nearly three year battle with cancer on NBC. She put on such a brave face, a beautiful face that will be remembered for its strength.
Heaven might have its angel, but we still have her mortal memories in her amazing body of work.
5 months after Duran Duran’s John Taylor’s Samantha Who? episodes were suppose to air on ABC, they are finally seeing the light of TV starting tonight at 8p! Can I tell you I had the same reaction as Dena did when I met John Taylor! I was a Nick Rhodes girl until I met them and ever since it has been John Taylor all the way!!! He just gets better with age! Can you believe he just turned 49 on the 20th?

I can’t believe I am saying this, but Shia LaBeouf was actually endearing on The Today Show this morning. The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen star made Samantha, a 20 year old female fan’s dream come true when she got to serve her celebrity crush coffee and ask him if he had a girlfriend. He was just so sweet the way he talked to her! Who knew he could be so charming? I sure as heck didn’t. Seriously how many times did you ooh and aah during that awwwdorable interview. I really hope we see paparazzi pictures of Shia & Samantha and her 4 friends hanging out after the show!!! How cute would it be if they actually starting dating because as Shia said there was a love connection.

Last night Simon Helberg aka The Big Bang Theory’s Howard Wolowitz went to the Saturn Awards and I totally didn’t recognize him. Seriously how different does he look without that Spock hair and those extremely tight clothes that he wears on the show. Dare I say it, he is actually kind of sexy!!! Maybe next season they can write in Howard Wolowitz’s successful womanizer cousin that he aspires to be and have Simon play the role dressed like that? I want to see him looking more like that, although he is perfect as Wolowitz too!!!
On Monday TLC will be airing a 1 hour retrospective of called Jon & Kate Plus 8: The First 10 Years which is fine, but don’t you think the promo should be changed from The First 10 Years to Their 10 Year Marriage since she filed for divorce on Monday? The best part of the promo is the end when the guy says and a look at what’s ahead for the family. Ouch! I think we know what is ahead…divorce and heartache. Poor TLC their top show is in turmoil, but they have to go on. Personally I think they should rework that promo and make it a little more time sensitive. What do you think?
