Pajiba discovered the trailer for Gooby and I am so glad that they did because I think they found what could be one of the worst movies ever made. I love bad movies, but that is beyond bad. I mean how low budget was the movie that was the best costume they came up with for Gooby? That teddy bear outfit looks so cheap, I have seen Halloween costumes look more realistic than that. And poor David James Elliott, is that where his career is going these days? From JAG to Crap?
But saying all of that, I actually really want to see that movie when it comes out on DVD on August 11th. Is that wrong?

Jon and Kate Gosselin announced yesterday on their TLC show Jon & Kate Plus 8 that they were separating, but hours before the episode aired Kate Gosselin filed for divorce and that news was confirmed at the end of the show. Because the filing came so late in the day, both Jon and Kate released statements via People.
“Over the course of this weekend, Jon’s activities have left me no choice but to file legal procedures in order to protect myself and our children. While there are reasons why it was appropriate and necessary for me to initiate this proceeding, I do not wish to discuss those reasons at this time, in the hope that all issues will be resolved amicably between Jon and myself. As always, my first priority remains our children.”
Jon released a statement of his own, claiming his wife was the first to make a legal move. “This afternoon, Kate filed for divorce. Our kids are still my number one priority. I love them and want to make sure they stay happy, healthy and safe. My job is being the best, most supportive and loving father that I can be to my kids, and not being married to Kate doesn’t change that. This will be a difficult transition for all of us, but Kate and I will work out a schedule that enables our kids to have plenty of quality time with both of us at home in Pennsylvania. In terms of my marriage, it’s no secret that the past six months or so have been very difficult for Kate and me. We are no different than other couples and parents who are facing a crossroads in their marriage. I am of course deeply saddened that we are divorcing.”
I wonder what activities Jon did that left Kate with no other choice but to file? By her not saying anything it is going to make it worse for him and her in the long run because the tabs are going to speculate what it is.
So what happens to the show? According to the Hollywood Reporter it will go on, but how TLC is keeping quiet for the time being.
Forgetting Jon & Kate, I am worried for the Plus 8.
UPDATE: Us Weekly is reporting that the show is going to take a production hiatus until August. Hopefully that will give the family time to adjust to it all.
Ed McMahon passed away today at the age of 86 at UCLA according to MSNBC. The Tonight Show sidekick, host of Star Search and American Family Publishers’ presenter has been suffering from bone cancer. Ed’s laugh will live on with the work he did with Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show.
Right now Johnny is up in heaven with Ed’s seat waiting for his entrance with Johnny saying, “Heeeeeere’s Eddddd.” and the two are ready to get the show started again.
Britain’s Got Talent introduced the world to Susan Boyle, who will NBC America’s Got Talent discover to top her? Starting tonight Nick Cannon takes over the role of host that was previously held by Jerry Springer and Regis Philbin, and by the looks of it he can handle the responsibility. Although Nick is new the Judges are the same, Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff are back to Judge the contestants and try not to fight with each other as they do so. Also back are some incredibly talented people we never would have gotten to see without the show and some that should never be seen on TV again.
So tune in for the original Got Talent show tonight on NBC at 9p and see if America can produce the next Susan Boyle!!!
Katie Holmes went to Cameron Diaz's Hollywood Walk of Fame Star ceremony and I wonder by looking at the pictures if she has something to tell us? It seems when she needed to rest her arm, she had a little belly bump to place it on. I am not saying Suri is getting a sibling, but you would think with all the dancing she has been doing recently she would have a flat belly and not one she could rest her arm on. Do you think Tom Cruise and her might be making an announcement soon?
