Private Practice is my favorite new show of last season since the mean CBS cancelled my other two Viva Laughlin and Moonlight. So for those of you who have never seen the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off watch the above Starter Kit that ABC has posted on ABC.com and get to know the show. And for those of you can’t remember what happened last season since the evil strike ended their season early this is a great refresher!
So get ready for the new season of ABC’s Private Practice on October 1st at 9p, I know I am!!!
Page Six is saying that one of the names being tossed into the top hat of the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars is the original Batman Adam West!!!
He rep said, “Adam is in outstanding shape,” said a source. “He works out an hour a day and walks with his big dog on his farm in Sun Valley, Idaho.”
I hope that ABC puts him on the show because if the rumors are true that Cloris Leachman and him are doing it will be the first season in a long time that I will be really excited for the show. Now if only ABC would drop Dan Marino and Toni Braxton I would be even happier. Please please please drop Dan Marino one Miami football player is enough and Warren Sapp is much more interesting and enjoyable to watch!
Brooke Shields is the special guest star on tonight’s Project Runway on Bravo at 9p and I can’t wait to see what the designers design for her. You know Brooke has been acting for so long, I sometimes forget she used to be a model.
And don’t forget to watch Shear Genius after Project Runway at 10p on Bravo where the remaining contestants say goodbye to those who were lost this season the show!
I feel like I am trapped in a Nightmare in Elm Street movie because I am stuck in a nightmare I can't wake up from. It was bad enough when Michael Bay's production company announced that they were destroying Elm Street, now according to WENN Billy Bob Thornton has signed on to play Freddy Krueger. If they were going to cast an older Freddy why didn't they just stick with the original Robert Englund.
Michael Bay, Shia's accident halting production on your next piece of overpriced crap was the horror G-ds getting back at you for destroying horror classics like Elm Street and Friday the 13th. Please please please please stop.
Hot off the heels of the announcement that ABC and CBS are working on bringing The Witches of Eastwick and Hawaii Five-O (respectively) to the small screen comes word that ABC is trying to serve up Maid in Manhattan to the small screen too according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“The show is a different maid in a different Manhattan,” Hodge said.
The lead in the TV version will still be a young Latina from the Bronx working at a Manhattan hotel who tries to make it in the world. But the series will focus mostly on her relationships with co-workers.
“While the hotel’s clientele is an obvious part of this world, I’m more interested in the downstairs part of ‘Upstairs, Downstairs,’ ” Hodge said, referring to the classic British series.
Why? Why? Why? The thing I hate more than remakes is when the networks say that they bringing something to the small screen but it is not a remake and has nothing to do with the original, but just enough to try to bank on the success of the one it is based on. Networks own up to the fact that you are not original. I think the small screen would be just fine without any of the above three, don’t you?
