The curtain will go down on A Chorus Line for a final time on August 17th according to Broadway World. The show proved it wasn't One Singular Sensation when it returned to the Broadway stage in 2006. Sadly even after having Mario Lopez do a stint with the show, it wasn't enough to make its revival go for more than just a little over two years!
Hopefully the show will once again be part of the great white in the future and another generation can sing about t!ts and a$$!!!
Is it just me or does Billy Idol look more like Simon LeBon (no offense Simon) than himself? Without the spikes and the gnarl, I hardly recognize him. Hopefully he still sounds as good as he did when he was in his prime, something we will find out when he performs on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on June 24th. The same night Regis Philbin is also going to be a guest on the show. That is definitely going to be an interesting JKL!. I am going to try my hardest to go to because I am sure there is going to be a lot to talk about the next day!!!
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!†will air special half-hour prime time shows on each night that ABC airs the basketball finals. Beginning June 5, join host Jimmy Kimmel as he welcomes special guests including David Beckham, Edward Norton, Charles Barkley, Liv Tyler, Adam Sandler, Eminem, Shaquille O’Neil, Magic Johnson and New Orleans Hornets’ guard and 2008 MVP contender Chris Paul, among others. Signature comedy pieces will also air throughout the primetime specials including: a celebrity bowling match, a spelling bee, outrageous basketball tricks and a casino night in which Jimmy’s Aunt Chippy will attempt to win big at Blackjack for each and every audience member.
I finally found a reason to watch basketball, Jimmy Kimmel Live! specials!!! BTW I am hearing that Eminem will be on the June 8th show, I wonder if Jimmy and him will get back on the BBall court for game 2 the same night game 2 happens!
Good to see ABC is utilizing their #1 player!
