The season premiere catches up with past clunkers turned pimped-out masterpieces in a special “Where are They Now” episode. “Nick Cannon Presents: Short Circuitz” at 9:30PM (ET/PT)
Nick Cannon’s latest project with MTV, “Nick Cannon Presents: Short Circuitz,” is a new sketch comedy series created, executive produced and starring Nick himself. The new series features Nick along with some of today’s hottest comedy players (some of who you’ll recognize from his hit MTV improv show, “Wild N Out”) as they bring a fresh new blend of sketch comedy that skewers pop culture with a hip-hop edge; from topical sketches to dead-on impersonations. Viewers will enjoy the hilarious antics of Nick Cannon and his uber-talented comedy crew who parody everything including “R.A.C.S” (Rappers Against Child Support) — rappers who band together for a common cause, and Mo Dolla$ — a pimped out judge, who’s the star of his wacky courtroom. Plus watch as celebrity guests join in the fun including Paris Hilton who spoofs herself as she hocks her very own “WWPD” (What Would Paris Do) bracelet. Other guest celebrities include ‘Lil Jon, Snoop Dogg, Ice-T and Kevin Hart. To keep the laughs going online, visit shortcircuitz.mtv.com.

“Adventures in HollyHood” at 10:00PM (ET/PT)

As the first hip-hop group ever to win an Oscar for Best Song, a music career defined by multi-platinum success, and recognized by millions of loyal fans across the globe, some may say hip-hop super group Three 6 Mafia has accomplished it all. However, it is only the beginning for this hip hop powerhouse as MTV follows them on their biggest adventure yet — Hollywood, CA. “Adventures in HollyHood” features Juicy J, DJ Paul, and their entourage of friends leaving the comforts of their Memphis home behind and hitting the road to conquer Tinseltown and trying to become major Hollywood players. To experience “Adventures In HollyHood” online, visit hollyhood.mtv.com.

“Human Giant” at 10:30PM (ET/PT)
“Human Giant” hijacks the network with its own style of fast-paced, hard-hitting comedy. “Human Giant” is Aziz Ansari, Rob Huebel, Paul Scheer and Jason Woliner. First seen online, short clips like “Shutterbugs,” “Clell Tickle: Indie Marketing Guru” and “The Illusionators” have gained a huge cult following. The short films stay true to that user-gen and viral video feel, intensified by a rebellious rock n’ roll attitude. Never a dull moment as special guest appearances include Ghostface Killah, Tony Hawk, Kelly Slater, Mary Lynn Rajskub (“24”), Patton Oswalt (“Reno 911”), Rob Riggle (“The Daily Show”), and Brian Posehn (“The Sarah Silverman Program”). “Human Giant” has gained a large audience in the New York comedy scene through live shows at the underground club Upright Citizens Brigade and was recently named one of “10 Comics to Watch in 2006” by Variety. More information on Human Giant can be found on MTV.com and thehumangiant.com.

Who looks more peaceful?
April 7th, 2007 under Michael Jackson. [ Comments: none ]

I am going with Russell Crowe because who ever thought we would see him flash a peace sign and not punch out the photographer? Now when it comes to Michael Jackson, I am not sure that is the peace sign or him saying he is taking two of everything?

Jack Bauer’s latest mission: Sanjaya Malakar
April 7th, 2007 under American Idol 6, Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

I told you the other day I was adding Jimmy Kimmel to my DVR because he always does something funny. Well last night he had this great clip of 24’s Jack Bauer taking on Sanjaya Malakar. As much as I like Sanjaya Malakar, I had to post that clip! I don’t understand why everyone is making such a big deal about him when he is no different than Nikki McKibbin, Jasmine Trias, Scott Savol and John Stevens. There is always one every season, so deal.
BTW here is a forum where you can talk about the most hated American Idol contestant Sanjaya Malakar.

Pink will do anything to cell a CD
April 7th, 2007 under Pink. [ Comments: 1 ]

According to ISE, Pink was recently at a record store in LA and saw a bunch of her CDs on the shelf. So she made an offer several people in the store could not resist. “‘I’ll kiss anyone who buys one of my CDs!’ Within seconds there was a queue of guys lined up holding her new record. “She kissed every single disc – leaving a red lipstick imprint of her lips behind. But one wise guy insisted she keep her promise and give him a proper kiss. “She tried to duck out of it but then grabbed his face and planted a smacker on his lips. “She asked, ‘How was that?’ and he said, ‘I’ll take two’!” No word how many CDs were left after she was done kissing all the ones that sold.

Maybe other artists should use this tactic to sell CDs like Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Taylor Hicks, Katharine McPhee, Paris Hilton, Kevin Federline and soon Britney Spears and …
