|  Fox 411’s Roger Freidman is reporting that Woody Allen announced last night that Penelope Cruz is going to star in his upcoming comedy-drama. Not much is known about the movie except that it is going to film in Barcelona this summer. Woody Allen (can you believe he is still married to Soon-Yi?) will move his family there for the summer.
All I want to know is, are Woody and Penelope going to hire translators to understand each other?

|  THIS explains why style maven Tim Gunn has not yet signed on for the new season of "Project Runway" – he’s been lining up a new job. Expect an announcement today from Liz Claiborne Inc. that Gunn, 53, is joining the firm as chief creative officer, The Post’s Adam Buckman has learned. That means Gunn is leaving Parsons The New School for Design, where he’s been chairman of the fashion design department since 2000 (and with Parsons for 23 years). Sources said his new job, set to start in March, will not prevent him from participating in "Runway" season No. 4.

|  Harrison Ford has threatened to quit the new Indiana Jones movie, unless he gets to use a real whip. The 64-year-old actor, who plays the daredevil archaeologist, was told the weapon would have to be computer generated because of new film safety rules. Harrison branded the rule "ridiculous" and said he would pull out of the film if he couldn’t wield his whip. A source said: "The idea was to take away the risk element the whip carries. "Safety laws have changed since the last film and movie makers have to be much more careful. Now they use computer graphics for any dangerous stuff."

|  JEREMY Piven likes to joke about why he’s 41 and single. "I’d love to have a girlfriend – if I weren’t gay," he tells Playboy’s March issue. "That’s right, I’m gay! I’m gayer than Liberace in 1972." As to why he’s seen as a round-the-clock party boy, Piven adds, "At the moment, I happen to be the mother[bleep]ing pretty girl . . . The pretty girl who goes to the hot spot sure does look like she goes out all the time, right?"

Can someone please explain his appeal to me? He is not attractive, he has really bad hair plugs and he is a Class A Jerk, so what is there to like about him? I mean what is up with his comments about why he is single, is that funny? Just like John Cusack, I am so over him.

|  A rubber penis and fake severed head have been stolen from the set of new horror film ‘Hannibal Rising’. The movie’s director Peter Webber revealed the theft and is convinced the guilty party is planning on selling them. He said: "There’s a character called Dortlich whose head is severed during the course of the movie. It was stolen by someone. There’s also a scene with a body that Hannibal Lecter is working on. It’s a full-size replica human body, including the genitals. Somebody took the genitals – they had to cut them off. So someone somewhere has got a large rubber penis and a rubber head." Webber is going to check internet auction site eBay to see if they turn up.

Seriously? Why would someone want the cut off the genitals? Sounds like the work of an ex getting their revenge to me!
