How does Roseanne Barr feel about Tom Arnold after all these years?
November 20th, 2006 under Roseanne, Tom Arnold, Whatever happened to.... [ Comments: none ]

Tom Arnold extended an olive branch to ex-wife Roseanne Barr on Saturday. It didn’t go well. Early in TBS’ live telecast of "Comic Relief" from Caesars Palace, Arnold offered to let bygones be bygones during his appearance from New Orleans. Barr, who has traded insults with Arnold for years since their messy divorce, had other ideas when she took the stage in Las Vegas. "I don’t think we should hang Saddam Hussein. That’s too good for the bastard," she said. "I think he should have to marry Tom Arnold."

I am sorry, but that was way too funny not share…he he!

Peter Jackson released from The Hobbit
November 20th, 2006 under Movies. [ Comments: none ]

Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson and his partner, Fran Walsh, won’t be tackling a film version of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit or a second proposed Rings prequel film after New Line told them the studio would be seeking another director, Jackson and Walsh told fans on the OneRing.net Web site. Jackson said that New Line producer Mark Ordesky told Jackson’s manager, Ken Kamins, that the studio was moving ahead with the project without Jackson and Walsh because the pair declined to agree to do The Hobbit as a condition of settling a lawsuit against New Line to recoup income from the Rings films. "We have always said that we do not want to discuss The Hobbit with New Line until the lawsuit over New Line’s accounting practices is resolved," Jackson and Walsh wrote. But Michael Lynne, co-president of New Line Cinema, insisted that Jackson and Walsh commit to the project before the studio would settle the suit. When Jackson and Walsh declined, "Mark Ordesky called Ken and told him that New Line would no longer be requiring our services on The Hobbit and the LOTR ‘prequel,’" Jackson and Walsh wrote. "This was a courtesy call to let us know that the studio was now actively looking to hire another filmmaker for both projects." Jackson and Walsh added: "Given that New Line are committed to this course of action, we felt at the very least, we owed you, the fans, a straightforward account of events as they have unfolded for us. … This outcome is not what we anticipated or wanted, but neither do we see any positive value in bitterness and rancor. We now have no choice but to let the idea of a film of The Hobbit go and move forward with other projects." Those include a film version of Alice Sebold’s supernatural novel The Lovely Bones.

Although I am probaly one of the few people who has not seen any of the LOTR movies, even I know that is a huge mistake.

Kanye West calls mixed women mutts
November 20th, 2006 under Unadmirable People. [ Comments: none ]

Notes from all over Kanye West has stirred up another controversy about race. The rapper, who made headlines when he declared that George W. Bush doesn’t care about black people, has startled some with his comments about the offspring of racially mixed couples. “If it wasn’t for race mixing there’d be no video girls,” West is quoted as saying in the January issue of Essence magazine. “Me and most of our friends like mutts a lot. Yeah, in the hood they call ’em mutts.”

Scoop

Seriously, who removed his foot from his mouth. And what is with all the racism today? Who is next saying what?

Is Britney Spears thinking of giving away her sex tape for free?
November 20th, 2006 under Britney Spears/KFed. [ Comments: none ]

Almost immediately after we heard Britney Spears was finally going to ditch her leach of a husband Kevin Federline, we heard of the now famous sex tape. Federline has already been approached by a porn mogul in the U.S. to buy the tape, but choose to pass on the deal. Now Britney Spears says she may just “give away’ a copy of the sex tape the couple made on their honeymoon two years ago. Sources close to Spears report she is “seriously thinking about” giving away a digitally re-mastered copy of the four-hour long sex video. During a visit to Burger Basket with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayen James spears said she may just post a clip of the video on MySpace. “Brit figures she’ll beat that sucker to the punch, just like she did by giving away pictures of Jayden James,” said Spears family friend Nyla Price, 55, the owner of Nyla’s Burger Basket. “Half of nuthin’ is nuthin’, and that’s what her lying skunk of a husband will get if she gives that video away before he can find some sleazeball to buy it.” Federline has been saying the sex tape is four hours long, however, Price says the tape is closer to forty-five minutes.

I guess you can see she is still screwing K-Fed.

Garry Marshall defends Lindsay Lohan acting
November 20th, 2006 under Lindsay Lohan. [ Comments: none ]

Garry Marshall volunteered to deliver the "thank you" speech for sister Penny as she was toasted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Friday night at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Garry told me Penny had undergone dental surgery that day and would have to pantomime his (her) words as he delivered them. Garry was now also telling me about his experience directing Lindsay Lohan in "Georgia Rules." He had politely refrained from making any comments during the filming when Lindsay had been chastised by Morgan Creek’s topper James Robinson for unprofessional behavior — lateness, absenteeism, etc. Principal photography is completed and Garry is in the editing room and Lindsay — well, you know what Lindsay is doing. Her doings with/and without Paris Hilton are daily fodder for fotogs and her followers. But Marshall tells, "Lindsay is going to surprise a lot of people. She’s just 20 and her acting is so good. You’ll see a different Lindsay in my picture. She, Felicity Huffman and Jane Fonda are three great ladies in my picture."

Sounds like he is trying to save his film’s reputation, can you blame him?
