August 27th, 2006 under Rolling Stones. [ Comments: none ]

Council bosses have confirmed they are to launch a probe into whether Rolling Stone Keith Richards broke Scotland’s smoking ban.Glasgow City Council has received a report that the legendary rock band’s guitarist lit up on stage at Hampden Park.It came after the veteran rockers played a concert there on Friday night, as part of their Bigger Bang European tour.A spokesman for the local authority said: "This has been brought to our attention and we will be looking into it."Glasgow City Council takes it responsibility for enforcing the smoking ban very seriously."The law, which came into force in March, bans people from smoking in enclosed public places. Its aim is to reduce the health damage caused by second hand tobacco smoke.Environmental officers are responsible for enforcing the ban and carrying out inspections.Under the new legislation, anyone smoking in any enclosed space, including theatres, sports venues and bus shelters, faces a £50 fine.

The Wedding Singer

Needless to say…I am very excited!!

WOW!! My Broadway debut!! Sorta surreal.
So much to learn in so little time…but they got the right guy on the job.

How flippin’ sore…(soar?) is my body right now??? Oh man!!
Lots of dancin and stuff to learn.

This cast is so AMAZING I don’t even know where to begin…
They first did this show in Seattle and of course have been on Broadway for about 6 months now.

I was at the opening of Wedding Singer and I remember saying to myself, "Man, that would be fun!!"

and here we are…

THIS IS SUCH AN AMAZING SHOW!!! SO FUN, GREAT ENERGY, SWEET LOVE STORY AND AN AMAZING CAST AND CREW!! ENDLESS 80′S FUN!!!!!

They have welcomed me with open arms…they have invited me into the "Circle" they do onstage right before the show…I have respectfully declined so far cause it’s too soon. That just goes to show you how gracious they are.

I’ll be frank…August and September have been very slow for them (traditionally these months are with the end of summer, back to school and the Jewish Hollidays) but I am REALLY HOPING THINGS PICK UP WHEN I GET IN THERE!!! YOWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

YES, I OFFICIALLY OPEN FRIDAY NIGHT SEPT 8TH @ 8PM!!!! YIKES!!!

I have been in rehearsals for a few days and have blocked the whole show. (this means the stage manager has taught me where I am and where I go in each scene)

Learned most of the big numbers, "Single" and "Saturday Night" and others….

I HAVE OBSERVED THE SHOW FOR THE LAST WEEK OR SO AS WELL BOTH FROM THE AUDIENCE AND BACK STAGE.

Sorry to those Wed Heads that have waited by the stage door for the others and prolly witnessed me just wisk right by you after the show…again…too soon for me to go there. I trust you understand…thanks and come back when I get in there on the 8th!!!

So…it seems there are a couple of conflicts, no?

*THE VIPER ROOM IS STILL ON!!! I WILL BE OUT OF THE SHOW (WS) ON THE 19TH AND 20TH*

*THE GREEK FESTIVAL IS STILL ON!!! I WILL BE OUT OF THE SHOW (WS) THE 30th AND 1ST OF OCTOBER.*

OTHER THAN THAT I AM IN THERE FOR THE LONG HALL AND OF COURSE WILL MAKE THOSE SHOWS UP…EXTENDING MY RUN. OF COURSE IF WE ARE DOIN GREAT…GB MIGHT WANNA STAY AROUND THE BOARDS (not fan boards) FOR A BIT!!!

I have been approached about many other shows…

Jaques Brel is alive and well… is one of the most amazing shows playing in NYC right now. I was offerred the part and we are working to figure out when and how I can do a run of the show perhaps this winter. Yeah!! This would really be amazing. It’s like "Queens Blvd." and "Aquaman"….best of both worlds!!! Thank you to the crew at Brel for being so cool!!

This is no way puts my recordings on the back burner…in fact I prefer the studios here and lets face it…my days are pretty free to ROCK!!!

Planning on some Monday shows in the city and a HUGE Halloween show if we can pull it off..so stay tuned for those…and those of you that don’t get to NYC much…or NEVER!! Get off yo’ ass and come thru!!! Let’s party like it is 1986!!!!

Thank you all for the amazing words of encouragement during this process…I love you all very much!!! Stay tuned…

BUY YOUR TIX NOW!!!!!!

LOVE,

CONSTANTINE~ (MySpace)

Fox News’ Centanni and Wiig freed!
August 27th, 2006 under TV News. [ Comments: none ]

Two Fox News journalists were released Sunday by Arab terrorists because Palestinian Authority (PA) authorities were on their trail, according to PA police chief Allah Hosni, quoted by the French news agency AFP. He vowed that the adductors would be punished, but no arrests have been reported. The reporters, American national Steve Centanni and New Zealander Olaf Wiig, were held for 13 days after being taken to an abandoned garage where a generator was running. "I thought… ‘I’m toast… they’ll shoot me so no one can hear’" said Centanni. He added that there were treated roughly and were denied water while their hands were tied behind their backs. They were forced to answer questions about what they reported in Gaza as well as in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan.Despite their ordeal, both journalists maintained that the media should continue to report from the Gaza area because, in their words, "It’s a wonderful story."

Kelly Monaco on DWTS3
August 26th, 2006 under Dancing with the Stars. [ Comments: none ]

“Dancing With the Stars” ex-underdog, Kelly Monaco isn’t ready to step all over trash-talker Jerry Springer’s chances to trip the light fantastic. “He could be a potential train wreck or he could be potentially one of the better things on the show,” the “General Hospital” vixen laughed. “One thing is for sure though, Jerry definitely has the schtick!” Monaco, who is in town with Mariah Carey’s tour and to judge yesterday’s 4th annual Gillette Venus “Legs of a Goddess” contest at the TD Banknorth Garden, knows a little something about low expectations. The 30-year-old soap star upset fleet-footed “Seinfeld” star John O’Hurley to be crowned “Dancing With The Stars” champion during the ABC hit show’s first season. After fans cried foul she lost the title in a special fall “Dance-Off.” But Kelly has no hard feelings and says she believes this season’s crop of “DWTS” hoofers – which includes Springer, former “Blossom” star Joey Lawrence, “Veronica Mars” bad guy Harry Hamlin, political commentator Tucker Carlson and NFL legend Emmitt Smith – might be the best yet. “This crew, they are so dedicated. I mean, it’s life or death out there and everyone on the show is giving it their all,” she said. So who does Kelly think will be left standing when all the votes are tallied? Monaco’s got her eye on Lawrence and his partner, veteran dancer Edyta Sliwinska. “I think they are the best bet to win,” she asserted. “This time around I think she’s going to give (the judges) a run for their money, and Joey can certainly shake his stuff. I’ve seen a few of his practices!” “Dancing With The Stars” premieres Sept. 12.

I am so glad she won and thought it was messed that they had they dance-off.
