Hartnett jealous of Wilmer? |

How thrilled would you be if your girlfriend was hanging out with Wilmer Valderrama? Probably about as thrilled as Josh Hartnett, who seemed a little anxious on Monday when the noted Hollywood swordsman flew Scarlett Johansson out to be with him in the Hamptons. "Wilmer was out there for a party and arranged for a helicopter for Scarlett to come out, too," says a snitch. "It was just to hang out, but Josh was not psyched about it." Valderrama was hosting a party at the Star Room, after which the two stars left to attend a friend’s birthday celebration at the club Boutique. Although the rendezvous was innocent, partygoers report that Josh kept calling his lady love on her cell phone. "Finally Scarlett just handed her phone to Wilmer and said, ‘Talk to Josh. Tell him we’re friends.’" No doubt that made him feel heaps better.

Madonna giving up Esther? |

The pop world’s most unusual partnership may be over. Madonna and Kabbalah, the once obscure sect she championed – and upon which she has lavished millions of dollars – appear to be on the verge of separation. Close friends say the singer has talked of loosening her red Kabbalah wristband and is wearying of the mystical Jewish belief system. She has decided to give it up, they say, having tired of the financial burden and the effect her strong beliefs have had on her relationship with husband Guy Ritchie. Madonna is also said to be concerned that following Kabbalah separates her children from more conventional customs such as Christmas, which they do not currently celebrate. If true, it would mark an extraordinary end to Madonna’s high-profile crusade on behalf of the cause she adopted the best part of a decade ago – and a serious financial blow to the organisation that promotes it, the Kabbalah Centre. Madonna has recruited other wealthy stars to the cause, most recently the actress Lindsey Lohan, and has bought a multi-million pound base for the sect close to her home in London. The announcement would also come out of the blue. Madonna has arranged for tickets to be set aside for Kabbalah leaders at dates on her current world tour. She was photographed leaving the Kabbalah Centre in New York on Friday with her family. Ritchie is said to be making a documentary about Kabbalah, but it is unclear whether this will be critical or positive.Yesterday a spokeswoman for Madonna, when asked about her support for Kabbalah waning, said: "As far as I am aware, it is completely untrue." The singer’s links to the version of Kabbalah that she follows are so intimate now – personally and financially – that withdrawal would be difficult, complicated and initially kept very private. The departure of Esther – the adopted Hebrew name by which she is known to fellow believers – would almost certainly provoke lengthy and expensive legal wrangling. Madonna, 47, used her interest in the Kabbalah teachings as the inspiration for her series of children’s books, which were launched in 2003 and include The English Roses and Mr Peabody’s Apples. Each of the tales has a strong moral tone, and they warn against such evils as greed and envy. Madonna’s involvement with Kabbalah has raised its profile around the world. The best known of around 3.5 million followers globally, she devotes several million pounds to the sect each year, as well as buying the venue for the London organisation at a cost of more than £3.6m.The singer has also shown her devotion by paying £12m for a Kabbalah Centre school in New York. She is said to divert a chunk of her touring profits to the organisation.Madonna’s alignment with a Jewish faith caused shockwaves when it became public because she had drawn on her Catholic roots throughout her career. This included draping herself with crucifixes and famously kissing a black Jesus in the video for her No 1 single "Like A Prayer". She gave a credit to the Kabbalah Centre for its "creative guidance" when she released her 1998 album Ray of Light and has spoken in interviews about how studying the teachings had "changed my whole outlook on life".

Did you happen to catch American Pie Presents: Band Camp on Turner Broadcasting this past weekend? If so, then you noticed that outside of Eugene Levy the faces you knew from the American Pie series were not there, but the spirit was and that trend will continue as today Rogue Pictures and Universal StudiosHome Entertainment announced that principal photography on American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile is underway in Toronto, Canada. Thanks to the sale of over two million DVD and VHS units of American Pie Presents: Band Camp we are getting more as the new film stars Christopher McDonald, John White, Ross Thomas, Jake Siegel, Steve Talley and Jessy Schram and is being directed by Joe Nussbaum. In this latest story from one of the most successful and outrageous comedy franchises ever, Erik Stifler has a lot to live up to as he can’t be the first Stifler to graduate high school, a virgin! The newest Stifler escapade delivers outrageous humor, heartwarming fun and laugh-out-loud antics.American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile is a working title, so if you see another American Pie film with a different name it might be this one until the title gets locked down. Natalie Portman joining Indy 4? |

I knew I wanted to go to the movies Friday night, but I wasn’t sure what to see. There was no way I would be fighting the crowds at Dead Man’s Chest and, while I almost went to see Wassup Rockers at the Angelika, I decided to go a different route. After reading Chris’ post on the Raiders of the Lost Ark screening here in NYC, the thought of seeing Indy back up on the big screen was just too tempting. Besides, Karen Allen was doing a Q & A afterward and that’s a pretty nifty bonus. Long story short, the film was awesome, as expected. However, when it came time for the Q & A, I sat patiently and waited as I knew one of the first questions asked would be, "So, will you be involved in Indiana Jones 4?" And what do you know, it was the third question. Now, here’s where things get interesting. Allen begins to talk about Indy 4 in a very "I have no idea what’s going on" kind of way, however, you could tell she knew more then she was letting on. She did say there were whispers the script was calling for both Allen’s character and Kate Capshaw’s character from Temple of Doom to reunite with Indiana Jones in the fourth installment. Though nothing was certain, the way she said it made the rumor seem to be much more than just a rumor. And then she dropped the bomb folks. As she delves into this next bit of info, for a brief moment, she hesitates before saying (and I’m paraphrasing here), "Oh, and I just heard Natalie Portman was cast as Indy’s daughter." Now, I seem to recall way back in the day, the Portman rumors were out there — what with George Lucas having just shot three films with the girl. But is it now a done deal? Immediately after the Portman line, Allen switched topics, reverting back to an earlier question. As if she knew she shouldn’t have said anything. Of course, this is all still part of one giant rumor, but if I were a betting man, something big will be announced soon.

Brigitte Nielsen Marriage #5 |

Brigitte Nielsen married her fifth husband, Mattia Dessi, a former model from Italy, at the five-star Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort & Spa in Malta on Saturday, PEOPLE has learned. Nielsen, who turns 43 on July 15, and Dessi, 28, held a wedding ceremony in the Dominican Republic on Feb. 21, 2005 – but the nuptials were not legal because Nielsen had not finished divorcing her fourth husband, former race car driver Raoul Meyer. Last year’s ceremony "was more like an official engagement," Nielsen’s longtime friend and manager, Luigi Balduini, tells PEOPLE. "They put it on the news that it was a marriage, but it was an engagement, because she was still legally married." This time though, it’s the real deal. Nielsen "is pretty excited," Balduini tells PEOPLE. "She is like a little child. She is pretty happy." Nielsen is no stranger to unconventional situations. The 6-ft.-plus Danish actress’s relationship with former Public Enemy rapper Flavor Flav, whom she met in 2004 on VH1’s The Surreal Life, was chronicled on another reality series on the network, Strange Love, in 2005. The show ended with Nielsen apparently choosing Dessi over Flav, but Balduini downplayed Nielsen’s involvement with the hip-hop star, telling PEOPLE last year that it was "more of a strong friendship – but it’s very heavy." Nielsen was previously married to Sylvester Stallone (husband No. 2) and involved with former NFL star Mark Gastineau, with whom she has a teenage son, Killian. She has three other sons with ex-husbands Meyer and photographer Sebastian Copeland.
