NBC has taken its time to tell The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins if it was going to fall off their 2026-2027 schedule or rise up to be on it!
Today, the network told stars Tracy Morgan, Daniel Radcliffe, Erika Alexander, and Bobby Moynihan, and producer Tina Fey that they need to rise their glasses for a second season.
The single-camera comedy is about a disgraced former football star Reggie Dinkins (Morgan) is on a mission to rehabilitate his image with the help of award-winning filmmaker Arthur Tobin (Radcliffe). In order to earn back the admiration of his fans and the respect of his family, Reggie will also have to confront the ghosts of his past.
The midseason replacement is the #1 new comedy in the 18-49 demo, so the news is not a surprise. Plus, with the names above, how could they say no?
