Netflix picks up Little House on the Prairie for season 2 |

Netflix has been talking about its take on Little House on the Prairie for over a year. However, except for seeing photos of the cast in modern-day clothes, we have not seen or heard much about the reimagination.
That is, until now. Today, the streamer announced that the show based on the popular book series will debut on July 9th. But the news did not stop there. The period drama was renewed for a second season, four months ahead of its debut.
Jinny Howe, Netflix’s head of US and Canada scripted series, says, “We are delighted to renew this beautiful reimagining of Little House on the Prairie for a second season ahead of its Netflix debut. The exceptional work by Rebecca Sonnenshine and the entire cast and crew on Season 1 has established a rich foundation of storytelling for years to come. With its hopeful spirit and emotional authenticity, we’re confident that Little House will deliver even more of what fans truly love.”
If it is anything like the 1974 original, it will be loved by generations for decades to come.

The Will Trent cast swoon over this cutie! |
| March 3rd, 2026 under Ramón Rodríguez. [ Comments: none ]

I have said this before, and I will say this again: Bluebell, who plays Betty Marie White Trent, is the star of Will Trent.
Sorry, Ramón Rodríguez, but you know it is true, as do your co-stars, Erika Christensen, Iantha Richardson, Jake McLaughlin, and Sonja Sohn. That is why they are all mesmerized by the chihuahua as she walks on by.
You can watch the biggest literal bitch in primetime on ABC every Tuesday at 8p and on Hulu the next day.

Sonic’s Shamrock drink is unlike the others |

While most restaurants, like McDonald’s, have Shamrock drinks that are mint flavored, Sonic did its own thing and soured up St. Patrick’s Day.
The Drive-In diner is selling Sour Shamrock Slush, which is a green apple slush filled with sour popping candy, topped with a whipped topping covered with more popping candy and tart rainbow candy strip.
“Our guests come to SONIC for fun, craveable experiences, and the Sour Shamrock Slush is no exception,” said Barbara Williams, Vice President of Culinary Innovation & Category Management at SONIC. “With a bright green apple slush, tart sour flavors, and popping rainbow candy, the Sour Shamrock Slush isn’t just a drink, it’s a St. Patrick’s Day celebration in a cup.”
Hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones who gets to try the limited-time slush that is available now!

Palm Royale is a have not at Apple TV |
| March 2nd, 2026 under Apple TV+. [ Comments: 1 ]

| Apple TV+
Palm Royale was the belle of the ball with 11 Emmy nominations during its first season on Apple TV. However, its second season was not as popular.
So even though it had a star-studded cast, Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy, and Carol Burnett, it was not enough to get back in Apple TV’s ball. Therefore, Deadline is reporting that it will not be back for a third season.
Palm Royale was a niche show because it was a clever comedy, and not everyone has the time to appreciate brilliance. However, I am one of the ones who does, so I am thankful we got two seasons because that is better than nothing.
