Want to feel old? Today is Justin Bieber’s 30th birthday.

In honor of that, Madame Tussauds Hollywood debuted the singer’s new wax figure. And it looks just like him, down to the small cross tattoo below his left eye.

Do you think it looks like the man who is no longer a baby, baby, baby, oh?

IHOP is selling Girl Scout Cookies inspired pancakes
March 1st, 2024 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

It is Girl Scout Cookies season, and the International House of Pancakes is cashing in on that.

IHOP’s Pancake of the Month is Girl Scout Thin Mints. They are buttermilk pancakes with a hint of green, topped with creamy cheesecake mousse, Girl Scout Thin Mints® cookie pieces, and whipped topping.

I don’t know about you, but I would rather eat those than the box of cookies because they sound so mouth-watering and delicious.

When the chyron operator types too fast
March 1st, 2024 under TV News. [ Comments: none ]

WLBT in Jackson, Mississippi, was reporting on a serious news story, but a typo made it unintentionally funny.

That is because it should’ve read, “Man shot sitting in car at gas station.” However, the chyron operator added an H to sitting, and now the victim was shitting in his car.

Then again, have you seen the price of gas? He could have been shitting.

James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy gets a new name
February 29th, 2024 under Superman/Spider-Man. [ Comments: none ]

James Gunn has been working on his Superman movie for over a year and a half, and today, he finally began shooting his first film as head of DC Studios.

He wrote, “Overjoyed to be announcing the start of principal photography on SUPERMAN today, February 29, which just so happens to be – coincidentally and unplanned – Superman’s birthday.

“When I finished the first draft of the script, I called the film Superman: Legacy. By the time I locked the final draft, it was clear the title was SUPERMAN. Making our way to you July 2025.”

I think Gunn made the right choice. And I can’t wait to see his take on the Man of Steel!
