Jimmy Kimmel is beginning his 24th season tonight, but is it his last? After years of him threatening it, and the current president wanting it, could that be the case? According to Page Six, yes, it is.
A source told the paper, “His contract is not getting extended.”
However, an ABC spokesperson says, “[This] information is inaccurate — any reports about the future of the show at this point are purely speculative.”
I think he will continue on unless Donald Trump dies. Because if that happens, I think the thrill will be over for him.
But there is one more factor that might play into his decision. He might stay for his 25th season and exit after that.
Before he hits that milestone, he celebrates his 4,000th episode tonight.
