There is a commercial from 1981 that everyone is talking about today, and it has nothing to do with what they were selling, which was Glamour Gal Dolls.
So why is the ad getting buzz 43 years later? It is because the actress looks like Taylor Swift, and people think the singer is a time traveler.
Is she? Nope, Swift is not swift with time traveling. The woman in the commercial is Toni Hudson, who starred in the ’80 classic teenage film Just One of the Guys.
What does Hudson think of it? She told Inside Edition, “It is exciting.”
And it will be exciting for TayTay to get a glimpse of how she will look when she is 63. Because Hudson is gorgeous and looks better now than she did then. So Swift doesn’t have to worry if her looks will fade. They actually get better.
There is some big news in the Soap world today! Jonathan Jackson is returning to General Hospital this summer. This is the first time he has played this role since July 2015.
Jackson originated the role of Lucky Spencer, Luke and Laura’s son, in 1993. He stayed with the role until 1999. He took a ten-year hiatus and returned for two more seasons. He left again in 2011 to star in Nashville. However, he appeared for a short time in 2015.
According to Deadline, he will be around for a while.
The actor is looking forward to working with his TV mom, Genie Francis, again. Who knows, maybe Anthony Geary will come out of retirement to say hi to his TV son. And yes, I know they killed off Luke. But is anyone truly dead on Soap Operas as long as the actor is alive?
Whether you have seen American Psycho in its entirety or none of it at all, you most likely have seen the scene where Christian Bale puts on a clear raincoat to kill Jared Leto while listening to Huey Lewis and the News’ Hip to be Square.
That was 2000. Yesterday, it was Leto walking around Paris looking like Patrick Bateman in a see-thru raincoat.
However, unlike Bale, who wore a suit, Leto just wore briefs. And I am not complaining.
