Five days after Fox fired Clayne Crawford from Lethal Weapon, they finally found someone to join the procedural for its third season. That’s right not only did they reveal that Seann William Scott is joining the show, they announced that the show will be back for a third season because of the casting.
Scott is not replacing Crawford on the show, instead he will be playing a new character that has yet to be determined. Some sites are saying he might be playing Riggs’ brother, but it is too early to tell. I mean, after all, it has not even been a week since this all went down.
When it comes to Scott, I wish him well. I have always been a fan of his work and know that he has a very quick wit which is a great talent for an actor to have. Especially, if you are working with a Wayans brother.

Did you know that Fox has had a remake of Lethal Weapon with Damon Wayans on the air for the last two seasons? Well, there might only be a few episodes left because Deadline is reporting it might be cancelled due to the other lead, Claybe Crawford. The site says that he has been disciplined several times because of bad behavior. So bad that they are hearing people feel uncomfortable on the set.
Warner Bros and Fox have to decide what to do next. Do they keep the show as is? Do they recast his role? Or do they just cancel it? Since neither the studio nor the network has commented on the cop drama’s future, I am assuming we will have to wait until next month to find out.
Do you think they should save the show or blow it up like they did the toilet in the movie? On that note, it seems like Riggs is a cursed character.

Did you know that Marlon Wayans was originally cast as Robin in Batman Forever? Yesterday when he was on The Tonight Show, he explained to Jimmy Fallon what happened.
He auditioned for Tim Burton, who was the directing the movie at the time, and he got the part. Then they decided to go another way because they were introducing all of these other characters like Catwoman and the Penguin to the franchise. They felt the followup to this movie would be Batman & Robin.
I guess the studio didn’t like that idea and replaced Burton with Joel Schumacher, and the latter decided to bring Chris O’Donnell on as the Caped Crusader’s sidekick.
Was Wayans upset with being recasted? At first yes, but then he realized, “You can’t have a Robin with a bigger cod piece.” Now had they waited until George Clooney took over The Dark Knight than that would not have been a problem. We have all heard the rumors that they had to make the crotch bigger for his costume.
Now that you know Wayans was the original Robin, do you think he would have done a good job in the part?
Before Marlon Wayans’ brothers let him star in their movies, if you blinked you would miss him in I’m Gonna Git You Sucka. He looks the same now as he did when he was just 15 in that 1988 movie.

Marlon Wayans is getting his own comedy Marlon on NBC tonight at 9p and he is just a highlarious as his older brothers.
The show focuses on him being a recently divorced dad with two teenage kids, and he is more immature than them. Even though, Marlon and Ashley (Essence Atkins) do not live together anymore, he spends just as much time there as when they were married. Something Ashley wishes he would do less of.
If that is not enough people in her house, her best friend Yvette (Bresha Webb) is over all the time along with his BFF Stevie (Diallo Riddle). Yvette, who is sassy, and Marlon do not like each other in the least. Then there is Stevie, who has been out of work for 2 years and sleeps on Marlon’s couch.
What about the kids, Zack (Amir O’Neil) and Marley (Notlim Taylor)? Marlon will try his hardest to raise them right, but since he is a big kid that does not always work out the right way. But he is always there when they need him. Like when the school’s quarterback uses Marley to get a good grade.
They are today’s version of a modern family who find themselves in interesting situations like when Ashley wants to have sex and thinks it will be OK to do it with Marlon. That goes just as bad as you would think it would.
If you are looking to laugh with your kids, then this is the show for you…even if you do not have kids.
