Did you hear how hot that make out scene between Tom Cruise and Annabelle Wallis is in The Mummy? Nope? That is because he killed it on the day they were supposed to shoot it.
Wallis told Conan O’Brien all about it yesterday. She said, “It was a very sad day for Annabelle…I got to set and I was like this is an amazing moment, I am going to tell all my friends, my children all about this kissing scene with Tom Cruise. And I get there and we had 900 crew. And I arrive on set, and I am like, ‘C’mon Tom, it is about to be the best day of your life.’ And then he goes, ‘Yeah, about that, Alex can we have a chat. I’m not feeling that. I am not feeling the kissing scene.'” Therefore, she was rejected by Tom Cruise in front of 900 people. Where is SAG when you really need them to stand up for their actors?
Seriously though, when was the last time he had a kissing scene in a movie? Just asking.
James Corden took his show to London this week and Tom Cruise was also there doing press for his movie The Mummy. The two men decided to hang out and the Late Late Show host has a fun filled day planned for them. The CBS host reworked a tour boat to be full of iconic moments from the actor’s movies throughout his career for the patrons to take part in. Once they got to Cocktail everyone was in Kokomo heaven.
While the cruise was only for the show and not a real thing, if it actually became a real thing they would all be saying, “Show me the money!” That is because it would be flowing in like the water below them. It would be anything but a risky business.
Access Hollywood sat down with Tom Cruise to talk about his movie The Mummy, but all they wanted to talk about was Top Gun 2. Which is not going to be called that. He told then they don’t need no stinking numbers and the sequel will be known as Top Gun: Maverick.
What can we expect from Top Gun: Maverick? Cruise said, “We are going to have the same tone we had from the first one. Stylistically, it is going to be the same. We are going to have the same score.” Then he confirmed that “the Aviators are back, the need for speed, we’re going to have machines…It is going to be a competition film like the first one. It is going to be in the same vain, same tone, but a progression for Maverick.”
But will it have the same cast? He would not say, he just told us we will have to wait to see. Val Kilmer already took to Twitter to say that Iceman feels the need for speed. Let’s hope they bring him back!
How excited are you for Top Gun: Maverick? Not as excited as Cruise, but pretty close I am sure.
Tom Cruise was being interviewed in Australia by Sunrise’s Samantha Armytage and she wanted to know if it’s true that Top Gun 2 is really happening. He told her, “It’s true…I am going to start filming it probably in the next year.” Then he added, “It is definitely happening.”
Those are all the details he gave her, so we don’t who or if anyone from the 1986 will still have the need to speed with him. Well, I guess we do know that Anthony Edwards won’t be back because Goose is dead.
Are you excited for this movie? Or do you think it is 30 years too late?
Reelz announced today that the 4-hour 2-part sequel to their huge hit The Kennedys will air on April 2nd and April 9th and I can’t wait to see it.
We have seen the love story of Jackie and John F Kennedy told many different ways, but this is the story of her life and her in-laws’ lives after JFK was shot and killed on that fateful day. As we know, Jackie married again to a billionaire and it wasn’t a happy one. Her son finally found love after his mother died and shortly afterwards he joined her up in heaven. Then there are The Kennedys, Robert F Kennedy was assassinated while running for President in 1968 and that is where this story begins. His younger brother Ted never got to hold that office after he was involved in a scandal that he never recovered from.
When John F Kennedy was assassinated on November 23, 1963, the family’s legacy went down with him. This is that story and it needs to be told. I can’t think of anyone better to tell it than Katie Holmes reprising her role of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Matthew Perry joining the sequel as her brother-in-law Ted Kennedy.
