Tonight at 10p you are going to want to watch Surviving the In Laws on TLC because it will make you appreciate your loved ones parents so much more.
STIL is TLC’s first scripted show, but it is based on true stories from people with horrible In Laws. For example a husband’s in laws move in for what they say is a week and they stay for over a month. Things got so bad they have to find a way to get rid off them, but how do you do that and how will they react? But that isn’t all, one woman has to deal with her future father-in-law, mother-in-law and step-mother-in-law and they are ruining her wedding plans. Things get so bad that the bride breaks down in tears during her wedding rehearsal. Will they become her in laws or will she get out of the marriage just in time? Then there is the couple who made the mistake of letting his parents look after their kid, and they turn the sweet little boy into a holy terror. Will the grandparents be able to see their grandson ever again or will they be banned from him forever.
So tonight when you look at your loved one’s parents, watch this show and be happy they are not as bad the ones featured on this show. And if they are then you can tell TLC your story and maybe they will have actors act it out for dramatic effect for season 2.

Breaking Amish cooks things up in LA! |

Breaking Amish has a new group Amish and a Mennonite escaping their lives tonight on TLC at 10p to experience one we all take for granted.
The 3 women and the 3 men want to live their lives outside of the one they know best and they are going to do it in Los Angeles. Tonight we find out why they are leaving their homes and risking being shunned from their families and their communities. Lizzie has a secret; and whether she stays or she goes, she can be shunned for it. Betsy was born English, but adopted by an Amish family. She is married, but her husband and her have their issues. She is hoping that going to LA, she can find out more about who she is and she isn’t going to let her husband stop her. Iva has a passion for cooking, but there is only so much she can do in her community. So she wants to go to LA, so she can become a renowned chef. She isn’t the only one who wants to do something more than what they can do in their community, Matt the Mennonite loves to sew and he wants to be a designer. Something that is not accepted in his community because that is a woman’s job. Andrew has been banished from his family’s home for something he did. Something that us English will think is something so stupid. Finally Devon is looking for love and he isn’t the only one in the group.
Together these 6 people with a common background will try learn about a world outside of their own. Will they survive being English or will they home a failure. Something at least one of our Amish members has already done.
I love watching this show because it teaches us about the Amish lifestyle. There is so much we can learn from how they live so simply. We also can learn a lot from watching them trying to live like us with all of our amenities.

It’s time for Honey Boo Boo to play the Family Feud! |

Honey Boo Boo and her family are going to do something they have never done before, they are going to play the Family Feud. Mama June, Sugar Bear, Chubbs, Chicakadee, Pumpkin and of course Honey Boo Boo will play against Cake Boss’ Buddy, Maddalena, Lisa, Mary and Elisabetta on a special episode that will air some time after the game show’s new season starts on September 16th. Can you just imagine how Steve Harvey will react to some of the colorful answers, you know that our favorite Southern Family, will give to his questions? I mean the show already comes up with some interesting ways to phrase some of the sexual answers; then factor that Honey Boo Boo’s clan have their own quaint language and you get a pairing for something I am very much looking forward to.
Seriously if Alana say’s “a dolla make me holla”, imagine how much holla’ing she’ll do when they go for some real dolla amounts on Family Feud!
Can’t wait until they are Family Feud to see them? Well Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Child will be back on TLC this Wednesday at 9p and you can watch Cake Boss tonight and every Monday at 9p on TLC.

Another reason why Smell-O-Vision works for Here Comes Honey Boo Boo! |

We are just a week from the long awaited season premiere of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo on TLC at 9p and now we know why they have Scratch’n’Sniff cards for the season premiere! Mama June’s family likes to wrestle and they have a secret move called Cup-a-Fart. Which is what you would expect it to be, they put their hands over their butt as they fart and then direct that smell to their opponent. And hopefully we will get to experience that yummy scent when we watch the show next week. My index finger and my nose are ready to redneckognize whatever they throw their way! Yee haw!
