Julia Louis-Dreyfus was honored with the Mark Twain Prize for comedy at the Kennedy Center yesterday and several funny people came out to roast her. What do you do after a roast? You go out to eat a roast.
That is what she did with Jack Johnson, Tony Hale, Lisa Kudrow, Tina Fey and Keegan-Michael Key. Imagine the conversation they must have had together. Oh, to a be a fly in that soup. Although, that would hurt a lot.
Seriously, who do you think is the funniest person in that group. I am going with the singer because there has to be a reason why they included him.
Jimmy Fallon asked Tina Fey if she was up to surprising some of her fans, and she said sure. They invited several people to record a video praising her, but what they did not know was that she was hiding behind a curtain. One by one, she would come out from behind the curtain with the Tonight Show host and they hugged her while ignoring him. Poor Jimmy!
Then when she went to surprise Hannah, her heel got stuck in her pants and fell down on the floor. Since she could not get up, she crawled her way over to Hannah, saying her name over and over. Only thing is, Hannah’s name is Megan! That is what unintentional good comedy is all about. Poor Han.., I mean Megan!
BTW Fey also talked about the possibility of a 30 Rock revival. She said if they do one, it will be more a reboot than revival because the latter is too easy. Which means as of now it is not happening, but who knows what will happen in the future.
We know that Tina Fey can act, we know she can write, we know she can make us laugh, but did you know that she can sing? She can and yesterday she let us hear how well she is at it when she joined The Tonight Show’s Barbershop Quartet, The Ragtime Gals, and harmonized Bruno Mars’ That’s What I Like.
You know what I like? I like the idea of Fey and Jimmy Fallon doing a musical movie together? Now that she got a taste of it with Mean Girls the Musical, time for her to bring a musical to the big screen. Who is with me?

Yesterday was Tina Fey’s last appearance on The Late Show and she wanted to give David Letterman something special to remember her by. So she gave him the dress she was wearing, right then and there, and told him she would never ever wear another dress on any other late night talk show.
Once the dress was off her, her Spanx had a message for the departing CBS host. It read, “Bye Dave” in the front and “#LastDressEver” on the back.
How did he like his present? What do you think? He loved it!
Lindsay Lohan ran into Tina Fey and she shared this amazing photo of the two Mean Girls together again. Hopefully, they discussed doing a reunion movie, since there is a spinoff, Mean Moms, and a stage musical in the works. Maybe Cady Heron and Ms Norbury can be teachers together and take on the Mean teachers? Who’s with me???
