We have learned a lot about Whoopi Goldberg’s eyes this year. First, she revealed that she doesn’t have eyebrows because she started shaving them as a kid.
Then yesterday on The View, she announced that she no longer needs glasses because she got a surgery that replaced the lens of her eye with something like an eyeglass lens. And now she can see!
Two weeks ago, Goldberg said she had problem reading the prompter, even with her glasses, so she was able to get this surgery to fix it.
The actress loves it so much that she told the audience, “If you have any issue with your eyes, I don’t know if it works for everybody but I’m telling you I’m sitting here able to read this.” She added, “If you’re having any issues with your eyes, please go get them checked. The bionic times have arrived.”

Whoopi Goldberg was missing from The View again, and we didn’t know why. Now, we know. She was called into jury duty.
Could you imagine seeing her in the jury pool of candidates? Teach them a lesson for calling her.
Besides telling the audience why she was absent, she also went off on a rant about it. Goldberg doesn’t believe that jurors are paid enough. She says that $40 is not enough for people to give up a day of work, and they should raise it to be at least $100.
I don’t normally agree with her. But on this, she is 100% correct.
It is a slow day, and farts are always funny, so here is something that happened on The View today.
Sarah Haines was drinking something, and it spilled onto the table. As soon as Whoopi Goldberg noticed that, she let her co-host know about it.
Haines moved over on her chair to clean up the mess, and we heard what sounded like a fart.
Did she cut the cheese? I don’t think so. I think it was the way she moved on the leather seat that created the sound. However, there was a lot of laughter going on, so maybe she did.
Whoopi Goldberg was missing from The View on Monday, and now we know why. The 67-year-old was not feeling well in the morning and tested positive for COVID-19 later on in the day, according to Entertainment Weekly.
She is expected to return to the daytime talk show when she is feeling better, which will hopefully be soon.
This is not the first time Whoopi has had coronavirus. She battled the virus in January right after the holidays. Back then, she thanked the vaccine and its booster that kept her from getting really sick with it.
I don’t know what it is about the Republicans that The View hires, but they always start arguments with the Democrats that make the show uncomfortable to watch.
There was Rosie O’Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Then there was Meghan McCain and everyone. And now there is Alyssa Farah Griffin.
Today, she and Sunny Hostin got into a heated argument over Griffin, saying, “I worry that some of the far left have become so negative in how they talk about the other party.”
Umm, which Republican spouse was attacked by someone with a hammer in the name of politics? I am waiting.
Anyways, that is when the two women got into a fight over something Hostin said last week. Hostin tried to explain where she was coming from, and Griffin kept interrupting her.
Whoopi Goldberg tried to get the ladies to calm down. But, when that didn’t work, she called for a break.
When they returned from the commercials, things were civil between the ladies. Let’s just hope we can say that tomorrow.
I am so scared for tomorrow, and that is the really sad state our country is in now.
