Whoopi, looks like The View found someone to replace Rosie O’Donnell?
June 11th, 2007 under The View. [ Comments: none ]

Could it be that Whoopi Goldberg will be replacing Rosie O'Donnell on The View?  A source told Star Magazine it looks to be a done deal,  "As far as everyone at ABC is concerned, she has the job. They have been meeting with Kathy Griffin, Rosanne Barr, Ricki Lake and Gayle King. While Kathy was a strong contender, Whoopi has won everyone over. Everyone is acting like Whoopi already has the gig. Whoopi has a radio show, she lives in NYC and she is an institution. She also is liberal and outspoken but not crazy like Rosie was. She will be a perfect fit as far as the ladies on The View are concerned. Nothing has been officially announced, But it is 99 percent Whoopi at this point. They will have a few guest hosts throughout the summer but the executives and producers at The View are set on Ms. Goldberg to start in the fall."
Personally I think they are making a mistake because she is way too crass and a live wire, but then again so was Rosie O'Donnell. I think they should try to get someone new as compared to getting someone like Rosie and Star Jones. Especially when the person they are hiring had a failed talk show and a sitcom, to me that would send a red flag that they are making a mistake. But hey that is just my opinion…maybe The View should ask me to tryout…way joking.

Sweet Jesus, Paris Hilton has found the Lord. Amen
June 11th, 2007 under Paris Hilton, The View. [ Comments: none ]

Oy freaking G'Valt, Paris Hilton has turned into your typical prisoner and has found G-d. ABC News' Barbara Walters has scored the first interview with the imprisoned Paris Hilton and Paris admitted this to her, "I used to act dumb. That act is no longer cute. Now, I would like to make a difference. … God has given me this new chance." WTF? Oh please, I just can't believe her. But I do believe she acted dumb, but I do not expect her to change I think she is just saying it to try to redeem herself.
Paris also told her what her jail experience is like,  "I was not eating or sleeping. I was severely depressed and felt as if I was in a cage. … It was a horrible experience." Kind of sounds like the claustrophobia rumors might be true and that her meds have kicked in.
So how did Barbara Walters score the interview, in one word luck. Kathy Hilton being the supportive mother that she is was on the phone with Walters when Paris called in and was relaying information to her mom to tell her. Finally Paris told her that she just wanted to speak to her directly and collect called her. Of course Walters accepted the charges and found out how Paris is doing. ABC and Barbara Walters will be exploiting this interview as much as possible starting with The View today.

UPDATE: Here is Barbars Walters talking about it on The View:

I love she wants to create a Paris dollhouse for little girls. I wonder if it comes with a bar and a tanning saloon?

Don't ask me why because I don't know why, but Roseanne has my vote to replace Rosie on The View.

Heather Mills wants a second chance with Paul McCartney?
May 26th, 2007 under Paul McCartney/Heather Mills, The View. [ Comments: none ]

According to News of the World she wants to get back with Paul McCartney. A close friend (she has friends?) of hers said, "She said she'd been devastated by the divorce and has become an emotional wreck. Heather doesn't care about the huge load of money coming her way. She'd much rather be happily married than rich and miserable. She said she would gladly give back every penny for another shot at happiness with Paul. She loved being married to him and it was the biggest regret of her life that things became so awful between them that divorce was the only option." Her friend also added, "She wants Bea to grow up with both her parents and is prepared to sacrifice a potential showbiz career for that."

Yeah, I believe she wants to get back with him because she was so happy with him. She realized no one cares about her without him. In fact we have already forgotten about her in the States after she did Dancing with the Stars. And to make matters worse for her wanna be stardom, Barbara Walters disinvited her to guest host on The View because she did not show up for an earlier interview according to the Daily Mirror. I really hope he doesn't take her back.

Rosie O’Donnell is a coward
May 25th, 2007 under The View. [ Comments: none ]

Rosie O'Donnell will not be returning to The View after that major blow out between her and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. You go Elisabeth, you have done what so many people have wanted to do and that is silencing the big fat obnoxious pig! My friend predicts that Rosie will get one of those horrible haircuts any minute now just to piss them off and for all of us to laugh at her.
Here are all the statements that TMZ obtained by all the parties about her departure:
Brian Frons, President of ABC Daytime, issued the following statement:
"We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave. Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to 'The View' and wish her well."
Barbara Walters said "I brought Rosie to the show. Rosie contributed to one of our most exciting and successful years at "The View." I am most appreciative. Our close and affectionate relationship will not change."
Rosie said "I'm extremely grateful. It's been an amazing year and I love all three women."
I was wondering why I heard a loud cheer a little while ago, I guess it was everyone who worked on The View happy that the evil witch is finally gone. She is a big bully who could not handle that one of the people that she bullied fought back and won!
Go Elisabeth, you are my hero!
