Kevin Hart’s face says it all!
December 7th, 2017 under Kevin Hart, The Rock. [ Comments: none ]

The Rock and Kevin Hart are doing press together for their second film Jumaji, and one of the reporters wore a shirt that only one of the men liked. Of course it honored DJ because who doesn’t love The Rock? Although not as much as that reporter.

How did Hart feel about it? He said, “This shirt pissed me off….After she interviewed us I spilled cranberry juice on her shirt and acted like it was a accident but it wasn’t #EVIL.” Meanwhile DJ said, “My strong bond with global press journalists is very unique and special – based on inclusion, being real and fun.” Then he added, “True, I’m being extremely petty by rubbing this is @kevinhart4real’s face but that’s what brothers do.”

That is what I love about them, even though they squabble all the time, they really do love each other.

The Rock and Kevin Hart actually made their second movie together, which is strange because they always seem to be fighting. Every time they post a video with the other one in it, they are squabbling over something. Mostly camera time, but that camera is their phone and it is for social media.

Case in point, here they are fighting over about making a video promoting Jumanji at the Hawaiian press junket for it. Not only were the two of them going at it, they somehow got poor Jack Black in the mix. It was like watching a yappy chihuahua, a tough bulldog and a mellow basset hound battling out for the imaginary bone. No one is going to win, but that does not mean they are not going to stop making their claim for it. Which is I was love them working together so much!

I also adore that they all posted the videos from their perspectives because each one of them tells a different story about the same one.

Somewhere over The Rock’s rainbow!

Thanks to Moana we learned that The Rock can sing and he proved it again over the weekend when he sang his own version of Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz in his homestate of Hawaii to welcome the international press to the Jumanji junket.

Only DJ can get away with changing up the lyrics to “Somewhere over the rainbow, little birds fly. Supposed to be good luck if they sh!t on your shoulder.” And that is why we love that big muscle man with a huge heart, he such a naughty side. I would love him even more if he released a full version of that tune. Could you only imagine?

The Rock reminds us that there a lot of good celebrities out there too!

In an era where every day a celebrity is in the press for doing something repugnant, it is nice to know there are still good guys out there. Like The Rock who flew a teenage out fan, who is on hospice, out to meet him. Not only did the teen meet his idol, DJ also set him and his mom up in the best hotel room he could and it was unbelievable. Making his trip even more memorable, in a time when everyone that knows Marik wishes they could forget all he is going through with cancer. For those few hours they did. Which is a blessing no words can express.

This is not the first DJ has done this, and it will not be the last. But this is a time when we need stories like this. We need them every day, but more now than in the past

Warning if you read all the posts you will cry because you wish you could do something to make Marik and his family’s life easier. Then you see what DJ did and it is so beautiful, it will bring tears to your eyes.

Tomorrow when you read about that guy, remember there are guys like The Rock that go beyond the call of duty and make a difference in so many lives for the better.

What is it with The Rock and animals?
November 16th, 2017 under The Rock. [ Comments: none ]

First we are going to see The Rock take on animals in Jumanji next month and this Spring he will be doing it again in Rampage. The latter film looks like what would happen if Jumanji and San Andreas met on the big screen. Because of that I cannot wait to see it on April 20th.
