The Upfront dates are announced
April 24th, 2007 under ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

Seat 42F has released on what days (known as the Upfronts) we will find what shows will be back next season, which ones won't and which one will be new. I hate this week because I always lose at least one of my favorite shows and I am never prepared for the truth.

So here are the dates for the dreaded week:

Monday, May 14 NBC 3 p.m. Radio City Music Hall

Tuesday, May 15 ABC 4 p.m. Lincoln Center

Wednesday, May 16 CBS 2 p.m. Carnegie Hall

Thursday, May 17 CW 10:30 a.m. Madison Square Garden

Thursday, May 17 Fox 4 p.m. New York City Center

(those are the shows I want back most from each of the nets, although some nets had multiple choices like on CBS HIMYM and Ghost Whisperer, NBC Friday Night Lights and Studio 60, CW One Tree Hill and on ABC October Road)

Say good-bye to The Wedding Bells and Six Degrees
April 3rd, 2007 under ABC, Fox, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

According to The Programming Insider lots of changes are coming to the TV lineup in the next few weeks. Sadly Fox is pulling The Wedding Bells after this Friday's episode and production was halted yesterday on the show. Six Degrees is permanently separated from ABC's lineup since last Friday was it's final airing on the Alphabet network. But not all the news on ABC is bad, Notes From the Underbelly which was suppose to air on Thursday at 10p will move to Wednesdays at 9:30p after its premiere. ABC figured why mess with a good thing and they are keeping October Road where it is. Over at  The CW 7th Heaven will have it series finale on May 11th!!!

7th Heaven canceled again!?!
March 31st, 2007 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

Watch with Kristin is saying that sources told her that The Camden Family is finally going to TV show Heaven. I am taking this with a grain of salt because Kristin said that Veronica Mars was axed when it wasn't and also because The WB canceled the show last year and it is still on the air. Don't get me wrong, I will be happy when 7th Heaven finally bites the dust because I lost Everwood over this show. Plus if The CW kills this show maybe One Tree Hill and Supernatural have a better chance of getting renewed.
UPDATE: Variety confirms that 7th Heaven is officially canceled!!! Yay!!!

Kristin Kreuk in a see-thru dress
March 29th, 2007 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

I don't understand why Kristin Kreuk hasn't done more feature films like the other young stars from The WB shows. Actually now that I think about The Smallville cast really hasn't crossed over, which is a shame because I think it is one of the better acted shows on The CW.

The CW postpones One Tree Hill’s return date to May
March 23rd, 2007 under The CW. [ Comments: 2 ]

Michael Ausiello says that The CW has postponed the return dates of One Tree Hill and Gilmore Girls. Gilmore Girls was only postponed for a week, so as he says give them more episodes in May for the season or series finale. Wonder if that means that they are taping two endings for the finale because the show is not likely to return next year. He also said because of The Pussycat dolls being a surprise hit that The CW has delayed One Tree Hill's return until May 2nd instead of returning next week. I think the fate of my favorite show has been sealed, sadly. Now I remember why I still hate the merger of The CW. Dang you The CW.
