The CW announced their midseason lineup and missing are the newbies No Tomorrow and Frequency, along with my personal favorite Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
So what goes in their place? DC’s Legends of Tomorrow moves to Tuesdays on January 24th to finish out its second season. Then on April 4th, iZombie is finally back! Which hurts my brain because I am hungry for it now.
On Wednesday, February 1st, The 100 is back. But the Thursday before that Supernatural gets another new timeslot to make room for Riverdale. The show that is named after my hometown and yet I have no temptation to see how they destroy the Archies. Seriously, why say it is characters from the beloved comic book and animated series; and make it about a murder in a small town drama. I was saying more than Sugar, Sugar when I watched that trailer.
Then there is Reign that is by some miracle coming back. Who still watches that period drama that is so far removed from the original concept. On that note, The Originals will be back on March 17th.
How do you feel about their Spring lineup?

Mariah Carey joins the Empire and dial up Frequency! |

As we know, Jamal (Jussie Smolett) is suffering from PTSD after being shot and can’t sing. Tonight at 8p on Fox his mother (Taraji P Henson) has come up with a plan to get in back to him back to his old self on Empire. She has asked her old friend Kitty, who is as big as Mariah Carey because she is played by Mariah Carey, to record a single with her son and take him on tour. It doesn’t look like her plan will work, but when has that stopped Cookie?
Then Lucious (Terrence Howard) and his “wife” Anika (Grace Gealey) have a d!ck measuring contest and she shows him that hers is bigger.
That is the only person Lucious will go up against. Andre (Trai Byers) is dealing with being arrested and it is going to get worse for him before it gets better. That includes having a confrontation with dear old dad. Will his sons finally stand up to him?
This is an Empire not to miss because it is even better than it was the first season!

What’s the Frequency, Kenneth? The CW show, that is loosely based on the movie of the same, debuts tonight at 9p.
Raimy Sullivan (Peyton List) is a NYPD detective, who lost her father (Riley Smith), a cop, when she was just a kid. They spent their nights talking on a ham radio, and she hasn’t used it since his body was found 20 years ago. Then one night, it mysteriously turns on and she can talk to her father again, the day before he is supposed to die in 1996.
She warns him about what is going to happen and she changes the past. Only problem, she also changed her present. Now she needs to get her dad to do another change to get her present back in order, but what changes will that bring to her life now?
That is why you will want to tune into this show tonight and next week and the week afterwards.
While this review is brief, the show is so well done and captivating, I want you experience it the same way I did.

It’s a CW DC Comics’ four-way! |
September 30th, 2016 under DC Comics, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

The casts of The CW’s Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and supergirl are filming a crossover episode and Brandon Routh shared a photo of himself with Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin and Caity Lotz. Lotz on the other hand shared the below video with Melissa Benoist.
If the crossover episodes are as epic as these behind the scenes, I can’t wait for the four night event to take flight!

Nick Zano has seen better days! |

Nick Zano Tweeted out a photo of himself all bloodied, so who would beat him up? We will just have to tune into DC’s Legends of Tomorrow when it returns to The CW in October to find out.
One thing is for sure, he still looks hot even though he has gone through the makeup ringer.

The CW puts a stake through Vampire Diaries’ fans’ hearts |

The CW announced today that The Vampire Diaries will end its run this season. After 8 seasons we will say goodbye to our favorite Vampires and Witches from Mystic Falls.
The news is not a surprise because Kat Graham announced that she was leaving and Ian Somerhalder hinted he would be doing the same. Without them and Nina Dobrev, there really was no reason for the show to go on.
I think that it is time for the show to end and now they have 16 episodes starting on October 21st to perfect its farewell. Are you sad the show is almost over?
