Taylor Swift’s dad feeds her fa-fa-fans
August 22nd, 2019 under Taylor Swift. [ Comments: none ]

Three-thousand fans camped out overnight in Manhattan to see Taylor Swift perform live on Good Morning America this morning. When the singer found out, her people including her dad decided to feed them. Since New York is the city that never sleeps, they found an all-nite pizza joint and handed out pies to the Swifties. Reportedly 10 Manhattan blocks of admirers.

That is a lot of pizzas! Then again, Swift can afford it. Boy, can she afford it.

Sincerely, this is a nice gesture. I have not heard of another musician doing this. Then again, I never paid attention to it before.

Taylor Swift would be a horrible waitress
July 30th, 2019 under Taylor Swift. [ Comments: none ]

Taylor Swift has been singing professionally since she was a teenager, so she never needed to work as a waitress to make money. Which turns out is a good thing.

I know that because Capital One hired her-er-er to do a commercial for their Savor Card. They decided to have her go undercover as a waitress and bartender. What did we learn? She sucks as someone who would work in the service industry. And reconfirms that she cannot do humor. Why do people think she can? She needs to stick to singing catchy songs about ex-boyfriends.

Don’t let the Cats trailer fool you, it still sucks
July 18th, 2019 under Andrew Lloyd Webber, James Corden, Judi Dench, Rebel WIlson, Taylor Swift. [ Comments: none ]

When you watch the trailer for Cats, you think this musical looks beautiful. I cannot wait to see it this Christmas.

Then you remember that it was one of Manhattan’s biggest mysteries. People wondered why it was the longest-running musical on the Great White Way when almost everyone who saw it, hated it.

I grew up in NYC, so I went to plenty of Broadway shows growing up. Cats was the first one I hated and so did my parents. And we are cat people. Andrew Lloyd Webber has made some great shows and some awful ones. This falls in with the latter.

When it comes to Jennifer Hudson singing Memory, her singing is all power with no emotion. It is a showstopping number because it is the heart of the show. Not enough heart in her voice. The other problem is it cast a lot of A-listers, they are just celebrities that people find annoying. Not Judi Dench or Idris Elba, but you know who.

Calm down, Taylor Swith did not kiss Katy Perry, but they did make up!
June 17th, 2019 under Katy Perry, Taylor Swift. [ Comments: none ]

Taylor Swift released the music video for her gay anthem You Need to Calm Down with several LGBTQ icons, Ryan Reynolds (I guess her friend Blake Lively didn’t like it so she made her husband do it) and Katy Perry.

That’s right the feuding singers made a “Happy Meal” and called a hamburger and french fries truce. Next up, will probably be a duet. Just in case you didn’t think either one could get more annoying. Together, they will be twice as worse.

I wish I could say something positive about this song and video, because the message is a positive one, but I can’t. It is as cheesy as, wait how come Perry’s burger does not have cheese in it? I guess even the cheese, like Blake Lively, wanted no part of this ’50s nightmare.

Taylor Swift crashed her car twice while being interviewed by Rolling Stone
May 24th, 2019 under Graham Norton, Taylor Swift. [ Comments: none ]

When you are a Rock Star you dream of being on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine and that means a day-long interview to flesh out the story. Taylor Swift was so excited when she got the call that she was going to be featured. Therefore, she planned a whole day of driving around to rehearsal and stuff.

She told Graham Norton on his show today, how that interview went. She said she not only planned what they were going to do, but she also kept telling herself, “Drive the best you have you driven.” Well, she did not take her own advice. That is because she crashed her car, not once but twice. The first time was her fault, the second was not and she says she saved the reporter’s life as they were sideswiped. After the second accident, she thinks she heard Brian Hiatt scream, “I have a new baby at home!”

At that moment she knew the cover story was going to be a good read and a bad thing for her. The moral of this story is that she needs to hire a driver. Not only for herself but to protect the other people on the road. It is not she does not have the money to do so.
