Sterling K Brown has reached a point in his career that Saturday Night Live came a knocking at his door. When he heard that knock, he did not say, “Who’s there?” Because that would be a really bad childish joke. Instead, he ran to it, flung it open and kissed the feet of the poor singing telegram guy that was there to give him the news.

In other words, his words, he said, “This is truly a dream come true. I’ve watched @nbcsnl since I was a baby. To finally get to host is one of the more surreal moments of my life, but it’s gonna be awesome. #SKBSNL.”

So mark your calendars for March 10th because that is when he is going to be hosting SNL. It should be interesting because this is the closest we have seen him do comedy since FX’s Starved and not many people laughed with that show besides me.

Seriously, I have never seen someone as excited to host the show as he is to do it. Which means he will nail it just like he does with every scene of American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson and This Is Us.

This Is Us’ The Big Three are reunited!
December 7th, 2017 under Dan Fogelman, Sterling K. Brown. [ Comments: none ]

We are less than a month away from the Spring season premiere of This Is Us and NBC released a little teaser photo. We are going to finally see The Big Three together again, for the first time in a long time. I cannot even remember the last time we saw Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K Brown) all in the same shot. Can you?

It is even more of a present because for the last three episodes each one of them had a standalone, now it is time for them to stand as one.

How happy are you to see the Pearson triplets share a tender moment? To see it play it out, mark you calendars for January 2nd for the return of 2017’s most talked about show.

It’s time Randall’s This Is Us!

We have seen Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Kate’s (Chrissy Metz) standalone episodes on This Is Us and tonight at 9p on NBC it is time for Randall’s (Sterling K. Brown).

Randall and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) get a surprise visit when Deja’s mother shows up, after being released from prison because the charges were dropped, and says she wants her daughter back. Now they will do everything they can to keep their foster daughter, but is it enough? Deja’s mom has every right to take her daughter back, but the teen is doing so much better in her foster home. Who will get Deja (Lyric Ross)?

While that is the present, we also flashback to teenage Randall (Niles Fitch) going to check out Howard University with his dad (Milo Ventimiligia). You get to see how this getaway changed his life.

That is not the only flashback we get to see, we also get to know a little more about Randall’s biological father William (Ron Cephas Jones) and his meeting with Rebecca (Mandy Moore).

Then it is time for the moment when Kevin knocks on Randall’s door and we learn what happened after Kevin found out his sister lost her baby. That is when you will be pissed that this the Winter finale and we will have to wait a month for the next episode.

How will we survive December without This Is Us?

Hey Sterling K Brown, is that your hand in your pocket?

Sterling K Brown posed in such a way that you cannot help but to look at his crotch. It is like the This Is Us star is saying this is me. Tell me I am not the only staring at his Emmy?

What caused Sterling K Brown’s earth to move in bed?

Yesterday at 11:21p, Los Angeles had a 3.6 earthquake that startled its residents including Sterling K Brown. The actor was in bed with his wife, Ryan, when it happened and immediately took to his phone to record this video. Not only did he confirm it was a quake, he also talked about winning his second Emmy the night beforehand. He is not upset that they stupidly played him off because he was able to finish his speech and thank his wife once again. Something she is more than happy to accept. Although when it comes to the quake, that is a whole different story.

Now had This Is Us won on Sunday, that rattler would have been because of everyone in Hollywood jumping up and down for Dan Fogelman and the drama. I am happy that Brown won, I just wish that the beloved show won more than just one major award. It deserves Emmy gold!
