As we know three actors play Randall on This Is Us, and never shall the three meet on the small screen. Even though they cannot meet on the NBC show (unless they do a crossover with Timeless), in person they can. Here is Sterling K Brown with Niles Fitch, the teen version of his character and Lonnie Chavis, who plays the youngest Randall Pearson. Seeing the trio together like that, makes you want to take your hat off to the casting department because they all look alike especially in the eyes. Do you also see the resemblance between the unrelated men or is it only me who sees it?
When we think of the Sterling K Brown we think of the quiet star of This Is Us, turns out his hips speak louder than words. Watch him shake his a$$et$ for Nichelle Hines. I hope Dan Fogelman is watching because we need to see Randall dancing more. Now that his character is out of a job, maybe he can get one as a stripper to support his family. That is a realistic storyline for the top-rated drama that everyone loves, right?
Sterling K Brown is starring in The Predator, and he is making me feel like one looking at him in this shirtless Selfie. Seriously, who knew the 40-year old, yes 4-0, had all that under clothes? Hopefully, they will show more of it when This Is Us returns in the Fall. Not that they need the ratings boost, but it wouldn’t hurt!
BTW seeing him like this makes me wonder why none of the Army Wives ever went after him, I would’ve. And we know that Marcia Clark did too! At least she did in his Emmy winning role.
Did you see This Is Us’ outstanding standalone episode yesterday as Randall and William took a road trip to Memphis? The drama made you cry and cry some more and even more than that. If you didn’t cry enough, then watching Sterling K Brown’s reaction after the East Coast airing will make you shed even more tears. That because even he couldn’t control the waterworks as he talked about his co-star and the opportunity to work on something as brilliant as this beloved NBC drama.
I need to run out to Sam’s because I am out tissues after all of this. Now we know why California is no longer in a drought. It is not because of all of the rain we have been getting, but it’s because of all the people watching This Is Us and crying.
Sterling K Brown was on Live with Kelly yesterday and he told the incredible story about the birth of his first son.
His wife and him went to birthing classes and thought she would be in labor for at least a day after she had her first contraction at 11p. Even the doula told her to relax, you have plenty of time. She went to take a shower, but kept having to pee. Then all of a sudden Ryan comes crawling out of the bathroom and tells him she is crowning. He doesn’t believe her until he sees his son’s head. Then one more push, and his son was born. And that is how they became This Is Us.
Amazing story right? It is even more amazing as he acts it out with Kelly Ripa.
Gotta love when someone who works hard their craft for years finally makes it.
